After getting up from the ground, Wei Yulan's two little eyes darted around after hearing about this idea.
She shared the same idea as her father: as long as she could get Zhang Damao into her bed, wouldn't she be in complete control of everything?
The thought of soon being able to make love with her beloved "Big Brother Mao" filled her with excitement, and saliva almost dripped from her thick lips.
"Dad, Aunt's idea is good. Quickly let my brother go and keep watch, so that my brother Mao can't get away."
She's so happy she almost wants to scream.
Big Brother Mao, I want to have your babies.
Having made up his mind, Wei Changqing no longer hesitated.
"Wei Gang, Wei Qiang, Wei Yong, Wei Meng."
The old man waved his hand, like a general in command, and called his four sons to his side.
"The four of you don't need to do anything for the next few days. Just keep watch over Zhang Damao on the way out of the mountains."
"Eldest brother and second brother, you two form a group, third brother and fourth brother, you two form a group, each of you carry a burlap sack. Once you find Zhang Damao coming out of the mountain by himself, don't worry about anything, just go up and put the sack on him and carry him home."
After assigning the task, he was still a little uneasy. He continued, "..."
"Remember, go easy on him, just knock him out. Don't hurt your brother-in-law. When you go home, be careful to avoid people and don't let anyone see you. Understand?"
The strong and brave men nodded in agreement, indicating that they understood.
"Brother, please remember, don't hurt your brother-in-law."
Wei Yulan genuinely cared for her eldest brother, Mao Ge, and repeatedly gave her brothers instructions.
"Alright, your mother and I will take care of decorating the new house. Yulan, please dress up nicely. Let's split up and get started."
A farcical attempt to abduct Zhang Damao from his marriage unfolded in this unassuming mountain village courtyard.
They were right; after Zhang Damao finished repairing his house, he couldn't stay there any longer.
On one hand, the Wei family was watching him closely, making him live in constant fear; on the other hand, he had promised Xiao Weiguo that he would go back and see him as soon as he finished his business.
This trip home took two more days, and he was worried that Xiao Weiguo would be anxious waiting.
After staying another night, Zhang Damao bid farewell to his parents and embarked on his journey out of the mountains.
Old Zhang originally planned to send him out of the mountains, just like he had when he was a child, but Zhang Damao was already a grown man, how could he bear to let his elderly father walk such a long way back and forth through the mountains?
Anyway, he didn't have much to take, just a small handbag containing a few of his scripts and a small package containing a few changes of clothes.
Knowing the way well, he left alone before dawn, when no one in the village noticed him.
I deserve to die before dawn.
The mountains are humid, foggy, and damp, so villagers usually wait for the dew to dry before going out to work. At this time, the mountains are quiet, and you can't see a single person.
This was exactly what Zhang Damao wanted; he was afraid that the Wei family would find out and cause some trouble.
He walked quickly along the only road leading out of the mountains. This journey would take at least half a morning. Once outside the mountains, there would be a bus to the city, and then he could transfer to a train to reach Shang County.
Little did he know that the Wei brothers had been waiting for him there for a whole day and night.
To ensure everything went smoothly, the four brothers worked in two shifts, seamlessly connecting each other, and ate and slept by the mountain road.
These fools are really going all out for their sister's future happiness.
Even late at night, Wei Gang and Wei Qiang, who were on duty here, didn't close their eyes for a moment.
As the saying goes, "Heaven helps those who help themselves." Just as dawn was breaking, the two of them, hiding behind the rocks, saw Zhang Damao walking quickly towards the outside of the mountain.
The two brothers excitedly exchanged glances, picked up the sacks on the ground, and tiptoed past Zhang Damao from behind.
The mountains were full of obstacles, and they kept their figures hidden all the way, so Zhang Damao had no chance of finding them.
As they approached, the eldest brother, Wei Gang, raised a wooden stick and lightly swung it at the back of Zhang Damao's head.
The hard wooden stick struck Zhang Damao on the back of the head with a loud thud.
Zhang Damao felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, and his vision blurred with stars. He knew something was wrong and initially thought he had been robbed. When he slowly turned around, he saw the large faces of the Wei brothers, Wei Gang and Wei Qiang.
He struggled desperately to keep from fainting, his body swaying from side to side. His steps were unsteady.
"Huh, it's so tough?"
Adhering to the principle of not injuring his brother-in-law, Wei Gang went a little light, and one blow did not knock Zhang Damao unconscious.
Seeing this, the second brother, Wei Qiang, snatched the wooden stick from the eldest brother's hand.
He struck Zhang Damao on the back of the head again.
This time he was much more ruthless than his older brother. Zhang Damao could no longer hold on, his eyes rolled back, and his body slumped down like a lump of mud.
Wei Qiang threw the wooden stick in his hand into the ravine, and together with his older brother, they quickly stuffed Zhang Damao into the sack.
With a sling over his shoulder, Zhang Damao's small frame, weighing just over 100 pounds, posed virtually no challenge for the two of them.
It was still dark, and there was no one around on the mountain road. The two of them didn't need to hide and carried Zhang Damao straight home.
As soon as the door opened, his father, Wei Changqing, came out to greet him.
"It's done?"
Wei Gang and Wei Qiang put down the sacks from their shoulders and said happily.
"It's done."
Hearing the commotion, Wei Yulan also ran out of the decorated bridal chamber. Today she had changed into a bright red wedding dress, looking just like a black mountain demon who was trying to steal a bride.
She was overjoyed to see her older brothers drag Zhang Damao out of the sack.
I never imagined that I would get my hands on Brother Mao, whom I had been thinking about day and night, so easily.
