Chapter 251 Interrogation

“Alright, Uncle Wei, do as I say first. I’ll go and interrogate that guy with the brothers to find out what’s going on before we take any further action.”

After Hu Haidong finished speaking, he turned around and went back to the room he shared with several police officers.

Wei Changqing also went out, first settling his family members in, repeatedly instructing them to lock the doors and not to go out easily, and to follow Comrade Hu's arrangements if anything happened.

The four strong and brave brothers were obedient and returned to their rooms one by one, closing the doors behind them.

When Hu Haidong returned to the room, he saw that the boy had been tied up with his own belt and was squatting in the corner of the kang (a heated brick bed), looking up at the sky with a defiant expression.

His four colleagues stood in a semicircle around him, staring at each other with wide eyes.

Upon seeing Hu Haidong push the door open and enter, one of them said.

"Boss, this kid is really stubborn. He won't say anything, not even his name."

Upon hearing this, Hu Haidong slowly walked up to him, squatted down, and looked directly into his eyes.

Who knew that this guy wasn't scared at all, staring straight at Hu Haidong without blinking.

After a long while, neither of them would back down.

Hu Haidong's heart sank; he knew something was wrong.

A person's eyes best reveal their psychological state.

This guy seems to be a seasoned veteran. If Yaji is surrounded by people like this, then things are going to get really messy.

Hu Haidong pulled out the pistol he had confiscated from him and waved it in front of him.

“It’s no use being stubborn. This thing was found on you. Unauthorized possession of a firearm carries a minimum penalty of three years. If you refuse to cooperate, it constitutes resistance to law enforcement, which is a serious offense, carrying a minimum penalty of three to seven years.”

"cut!"

The guy let out a disdainful snort, glanced at Hu Haidong with his glasses, and turned his head to the other side, completely ignoring him.

Nema...

Seeing that this guy was unmoved by either soft or hard tactics, Hu Haidong had an urge to stand up and give him a good beating.

One of the brothers saw that he was about to make a move, so he quickly came forward and hugged him.

"Brother Hu, Brother Hu, don't be impulsive."

Vigilante justice is illegal, and this kid clearly knows that, otherwise he wouldn't be so tough. If you really lay a hand on him, you might get bitten back.

What should we do?

Several people began to worry.

They knew this kid had a problem, but he just wouldn't say anything. They couldn't hit him or scold him, so they couldn't get any useful information out of him.

Suddenly, Hu Haidong's eyes lit up, and he chuckled.

His gaze towards the young man grew increasingly bright. He stroked the stubble on his chin and nodded repeatedly.

The kid finally started to get a little uneasy under his gaze.

"What are you trying to do?"

Completely baffled by Hu Haidong's inexplicable behavior, he finally asked a question.

Hu Haidong understood those words; they meant what you wanted to do.

"Hehe, kid, you just think we're public officials and can't use our power against you? You wait, I'll call someone to have some fun with you."

After saying that, he turned to one of his brothers and said...

"Xiao Liu, go quickly and call Jiao Bai over. That guy has a lot of tricks up his sleeve; we have plenty of ways to deal with him."

The other brothers' eyes lit up at the same time. That's right, how could they forget that there was a martial arts master in their team?

"Okay, I'll go right away."

The police officer named Xiao Liu took off running after saying that, heading towards Zhang Damao's house.

Because of disagreements with them regarding the key individuals under their protection, Jiao Bai has been living with Zhang Damao's parents to protect them, and has not been living with Hu Haidong and the others.

Upon hearing that one of Yaji's accomplices had been caught, Jiao Bai followed Xiao Liu to Wei Changqing's house without saying a word.

Hearing footsteps outside, Hu Haidong excitedly ran out and grabbed Jiao Bai's arm, dragging him into the house.

“Brother Jiao Bai, this kid is really stubborn. We brothers can’t handle him, so we’re leaving him to you.”

Jiao Bai understood what he meant, of course; he couldn't get the other person to talk, so he wanted him to take action.

He rarely smiles, but a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

He's very good at this kind of work.

He loosened his knuckles and walked step by step toward the boy.

Perhaps sensing the pressure emanating from Jiao Bai, the kid finally started to get a little nervous.

"What are you trying to do, come on..."

He shouted in bird language that Jiao Bai couldn't understand while kicking his legs backward.

Jiao Bai didn't care about his explanation. She went over and grabbed him.

Hu Haidong shouted from the side.

"Brothers, the air in the room is terrible, let's come out and get some fresh air."

The four police officers rushed out in a flash, and thoughtfully closed the door behind Jiao Bai.

The brothers took out cigarettes by the door, nodded to each other, and listened intently to what was happening inside while smoking.

Jiao Bai first smiled and untied the leather belt from the boy's arm.

She carefully removed his sweater and coat, leaving him only in a thermal undershirt, before stopping.

The boy stared blankly as Jiao Bai gently undressed him. Then, something terrible occurred to him.

Holy crap, so that's what kind of person he is. No wonder that policeman was smiling so sinisterly.

Oh my god, is my chrysanthemum going to be in danger this time?

He felt like crying but couldn't.
