Chapter 264 Martial Arts and Techniques

Suddenly everything went black, and Yaji instinctively wanted to take a step back to create some distance.

But then his arm tightened, and Jiao Bai pulled him back with a wrap around his arm, circled around behind Yaji, and used his left hand to lock Yaji's neck from behind and press down sharply.

Yaji was punched in the nose by Jiao Bai, and his head was still dazed. Before he could fight back, Jiao Bai slammed him to the ground.

Then came a barrage of punches from the day.

Jiao Bai knelt down on one knee and used his calf to control Yaji's head.

A pair of fists flew rapidly, striking Yaji's face repeatedly with the force of punches.

The sounds of "slap slap slap slap" were incessant.

Dozens of punches landed on Yaji's face in succession. Finally, Yaji's eyes rolled back, his body convulsed, and he fainted.

Jiao Bai still seemed a little uneasy, so he patted his temples a couple more times before letting out a long breath and standing up.

After fighting Yaji for so long, it was impossible not to be tired, and Jiao Bai's stamina was rapidly declining.

He was just a little better off than Yaji.

This was the most intense battle he had ever fought since his debut, and the first time he had encountered someone who could fight him for so long.

He got up, pulled out Yaji's belt, and tied him up tightly. After testing it and finding no way to break free, Jiao Bai kicked him aside. He then found a tree nearby, leaned against it, and sat down to rest.

Looking at his watch, it was already past 2 a.m. After chasing Wei Changqing from his house to this place and going through a fierce battle, Jiao Bai was also feeling extremely tired.

Running at extreme speed for more than an hour, almost two hours straight, is no easy feat for anyone.

Jiao Bai sat on the ground, resting and pondering silently.

He had no idea where this place was.

Yaji, wanting to lead him to a secluded place, stopped him from scurrying around like a fly, and Yaji followed him, running aimlessly without having time to remember the way. In the vast mountains, heaven knows where he ended up.

Looking around, apart from the swaying shadows of trees and the rolling mountains, there was no sign of any human habitation.

Jiao Zhuabai shook his head and gave a wry smile.

This is a bit of a mess. I finally managed to capture Yaji, and now I'm not going to get lost in these mountains with him and starve to death, am I?

His worries were not unfounded.

In such remote mountains, it's common to find people getting lost.

Let alone someone who has lived on the plains since childhood, even villagers who live in the mountains wouldn't dare to venture into such a desolate place.

Summer and autumn are better, as you can find some wild fruits and other things to eat in the jungle.

But it's only been a short time since the Spring Festival, and spring hasn't even arrived yet; the streams haven't thawed. There aren't even any wild fruits to be found in the mountains, not even a single leaf. If they can't find someone soon, there's a high chance they'll starve to death in the mountains.

Thinking of this, Jiao Bai kicked Yaji's buttocks twice more hard.

Why did you choose to venture into these deep forests instead of following the mountain path outwards? Now look what's happened, with both of you fighting and struggling to survive.

Yaji was kicked twice and somehow woke up groggily.

This kid's ability to withstand blows is truly remarkable. It's only been a short while, and you have to understand that Jiao Bai didn't hold back at all just now.

He rolled over, trying to get up from the ground, but felt pain all over his body, especially his face, which was now swollen. Jiao Bai punched him dozens of times, turning his face into a pig's head.

My legs were burning from the beating, and I didn't dare to use any force at all.

He reached out to rub his face, only to find his hands were also bound. He then realized he was now a prisoner.

He sat up halfway and, by the moonlight, saw Jiao Bai leaning against a large tree, his head tilted and his eyes fixed on him menacingly.

Then his eyes gleamed, as if he wanted to devour him.

Jiao Bai felt a chill run down his spine and instinctively moved his body back a little.

Jiao Bai remained silent, while he stared back at Jiao Bai.

The two men stared at each other in the darkness, like two roosters about to fight.

After a long while, Yaji finally spoke up and asked.

Why didn't you kill me?

He knew he deserved to die for what he had done, so it was only natural that Jiao Bai would kill him immediately after defeating him.

Jiao Bai leaned his head back against the big tree behind him and let out a sneer.

"Pshaw, you deserve to die, but my martial arts are not for killing."

Upon hearing this, Yaji also gave a cold laugh.

"Stop talking nonsense. If you're not practicing martial arts to kill people, what's the point of practicing it?"

"Hmph, the traditional martial arts of the Dragon Kingdom are profound and extensive. Your kind of martial arts, which only knows how to kill, cannot be called martial arts at all. At most, it can be called technique."

After Jiao Bai finished speaking, he turned his head away and ignored him.

How could someone from a barbarian state like Yaji possibly understand the martial arts that the Dragon Kingdom had inherited for thousands of years? Explaining these things to him would be like casting pearls before swine. So Jiao Bai simply ignored him and started thinking about how to leave this godforsaken place.

"Hey, do you know where we've ended up?"

With his arms bound, Yaji, not wanting to be left out, asked, trying to make conversation.

Jiao Bai turned to look at him, but did not answer.

"Are you lost too? Hahaha~~"

Yaji burst into wild laughter.

"Hey, tell me, if we can't get out of this hellhole, are we going to die here together? I deserve to die, and you'll be buried with me. Wouldn't that be a huge loss for you?"
