Chapter 346 The Wang Brothers

Wang Qiang in the west room hadn't actually fallen asleep. After hearing his mother's words, he returned to his room with a heavy heart and went straight to bed.

So nervous was he that he didn’t even have time to take off his clothes before he hurriedly crawled into the thick quilt.

At that moment, Hu Haidong and the others were tiptoeing into the house.

Wang Qiang, lying in bed, kept his ears perked up, listening intently to the sounds outside.

However, perhaps because the people were deliberately speaking in low voices, or perhaps because they were quite far apart, even though Wang Qiang tried his best and held his breath, he still couldn't hear what they were talking about.

Just as Wang Qiang was pondering this in his heart, suddenly, the curtain was gently lifted, and then a bright beam of light shone in from the outer room.

In the blink of an eye, three dark figures, like ghosts, pounced on the bed simultaneously, one after the other.

Before Wang Qiang could react, he was already pinned down on the bed.

As his eyes gradually adjusted to the light, he was finally able to see the situation clearly.

It turned out that the people who had restrained him were three police officers!

In an instant, Wang Qiang was terrified and was about to shout at the top of his lungs to send a warning signal to his younger brother in the next room.

At this critical moment, a cold, icy pistol, radiating a chilling aura, silently appeared above his forehead.

The dark, gaping muzzle of the gun seemed like an entrance to the abyss of hell, sending chills down one's spine.

"Behave yourself and don't make a sound!"

Hu Haidong deliberately lowered his voice, but the authority and severity it contained remained undiminished.

His gaze was as sharp as a hawk's, fixed intently on the person who was being controlled in front of him.

Wang Qiang is usually a brave and aggressive person who often causes trouble because of his strong physique.

However, at this moment, when he faced the police officers who represented justice and the law, all his arrogance vanished without a trace in an instant.

He was like a frightened mouse that had suddenly encountered a mighty cat, and immediately became timid and hesitant, no longer daring to have any thought of resistance.

Especially now, with that pistol, capable of easily taking a life, firmly pressed against his head, the slightest movement would cause the bullet to mercilessly pierce his skull with a gentle pull of the trigger.

This feeling of life and death hanging by a thread made Wang Qiang tremble all over, and his legs were so weak that he almost collapsed on the bed.

Seeing that his intimidation had indeed had the desired effect, Hu Haidong nodded in satisfaction.

Then, he leaned down, brought his face close to Wang Qiang's ear, lowered his voice, and interrogated him in a slightly threatening tone.

"Tell me quickly! Who is the other person besides you? And where are they hiding now?"

However, for Wang Qiang, betraying Wang Jun at this moment was not an easy task.

After all, the two were brothers born of the same mother! The inner turmoil and struggle put Wang Qiang in a dilemma, making it difficult for him to make a decision.

At that moment, something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, a deafening bang came from the door of the room on the east side!

Immediately afterwards, the door swung open, and a dark figure rushed out of the house like a wild horse, moving with lightning speed.

The figure moved with incredible speed, without even a moment's pause, rushing straight towards the door.

Wang Changlin, who was standing in the main room, craning his neck to curiously watch Hu Haidong and others arrest Wang Qiang, was so frightened by the sudden loud noise that his whole body trembled and convulsed involuntarily.

He nearly fell to the ground from extreme fear.

After regaining his senses, Wang Changlin hurriedly turned his head and saw Wang Jun desperately trying to escape. Almost instinctively, Wang Changlin shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Wang Jun!"

Wang Jun, like a frightened rabbit, remained huddled in his mother's room on the east side.

Unlike Wang Qiang, who was lying in bed, he remained highly vigilant, peering anxiously and nervously through the crack of the tightly closed door in the east room.

Hu Haidong and his group slipped into the main room silently, like ghosts.

Every subtle movement and every slight sound they made was caught in Wang Jun's sharp, eagle-like eyes.

When Wang Jun realized that the newcomers were well-trained and fully armed police officers led by Sanbao, his heart felt as if it had fallen into an ice cellar, instantly turning ice-cold.

Keep in mind that what he was holding tightly in his hand was nothing more than a worn-out, short-barreled shotgun.

How could such rudimentary weapons possibly be a match for the three professional police officers wielding real firearms?

Moreover, they have clearly undergone rigorous training and are exceptionally skilled.

Just as Wang Jun was in despair and had no idea how to deal with the thorny situation, he was surprised to find that the three police officers walked straight into the room where his elder brother Wang Qiang was.

In that instant, a flash of inspiration struck Wang Jun.

Don't miss this opportunity!

So he gritted his teeth, steeled his resolve, and decided to seize this opportunity and go all out.

While Hu Haidong and his men were focused on capturing Wang Qiang, Wang Jun suddenly flung open the door and ran wildly outside.

However, just as he had taken a few steps, Wang Changlin's sudden roar exploded in his ears like a bolt from the blue, causing him to involuntarily stop in his tracks.
