Chapter 354 Old Mo's Shot

"He was shot and killed by our boss! That guy was really tough. From the moment we stepped onto the fourth floor, he blocked the door like a guardian deity."

Without any hesitation, Wang Jun bluntly stated that the person who shot Xiang Huzi was their boss.

Upon hearing this, the interrogator's eyes flashed, and he quickly pressed on, "Then who exactly is your boss? What's his name?"

Wang Jun swallowed hard, hesitated for a moment, but quickly continued.

"His name is Lao Mo, but as for his full name... we really don't know. He never reveals it, and we underlings naturally don't dare to ask."

I heard that he had another identity before, and that he committed a heinous crime in China. Later, he fled abroad, and somehow he was subdued by a man named Jiang Sheng.

Now, he has become Jiang Sheng's subordinate, specifically responsible for expanding Jiang Sheng's influence within the country.

At this point, Wang Jun let out a long sigh of relief, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from his shoulders. He understood that he had no way out and no room for maneuver.

Back then, I hung out with those people simply because I was greedy for petty gains; we were just using each other.

Since they are already in deep trouble, why bother to cover for them?

The recorder beside him kept writing down every word Wang Jun said in detail, wielding his pen incessantly.

Wang Jun paused for a moment, then continued.

"The situation was really too sudden at the time; he wasn't even on our original list of targets."

Who would have thought he would suddenly appear and block Xiao Jian's room door, refusing to let us in? Two of our brothers rushed forward, hoping to get him out of there.

But who would have thought that this guy's skills would be so amazing!

He easily subdued both of us and threw them to the ground in a few swift movements. Even more unexpectedly, he then dragged one of our men over and took him hostage!

The interrogator frowned and pressed for more information.

"So Old Mo then shot him?"

Wang Jun nodded, a hint of helplessness and lingering fear on his face, and replied.

"That's right. Old Mo is not a talkative person, but we all know very well that he is the most ruthless and inhuman among us."

Faced with this situation, he didn't care whether his brother, who was being held hostage, was alive or dead. He raised his hand and fired, killing both the hostage and the hostage.

However, it was precisely because of this guy's commotion that we wasted some time and ultimately failed to have another chance to rush into the room and deal with Xiao Jian.

Although Lao Mo was ruthless, he was extremely afraid of losing his life.

Hearing the security guards' noise outside, Old Mo, without a word, immediately led us away through a pre-prepared secret passage.

At this point, the interrogator could no longer contain his anger, slammed his fist on the table, and roared.

"You lawless bastards, you're incredibly audacious! Where did you hide after you escaped? Where is Old Mo now?"

Wang Jun's lips twitched involuntarily a few times. Just as he was about to answer the question, he suddenly opened his mouth as if he remembered something of utmost importance and asked.

"What time is it now?"

The interrogator was taken aback by his sudden questioning and was completely baffled, not understanding why he would ask such a question.

But out of professional habit, the interrogator quickly raised his wrist, glanced at his watch, and then answered.

"It's 2:00 AM. What's wrong? Do you have something urgent to take care of?"

After listening, Wang Jun leaned back heavily against the hard back of the interrogation chair.

Immediately afterwards, a few mocking sneers escaped his lips, sounding particularly abrupt and jarring in the silent interrogation room.

The interrogator was already annoyed by Wang Jun's uncooperative attitude, and hearing his unrestrained mockery only fueled his anger.

The interrogator slammed his fist on the table again, angrily questioning the interrogator.

"Wang Jun! Even now, you still dare to be so arrogant! Don't you really want to honestly confess everything?"

However, faced with the interrogator's angry rebuke, Wang Jun showed no fear whatsoever. Instead, as if deliberately provoking him, he suddenly straightened his body and sat steadily in the chair.

At this moment, a strange, enigmatic expression, seemingly both a smile and a frown, appeared on his otherwise plain face.

His eyes, in particular, were like two cold beams of light, piercing straight through the dim light, staring intently at the interrogator behind the light.

"Stop wasting your precious time here! Let me tell you the truth, you only have fifty minutes left."

If we can't get to the textile factory in time, the entire place will be reduced to scorched earth in an instant!

Wang Jun spoke slowly in an almost indifferent tone, as if everything happening before his eyes had nothing to do with him.

Wang Jun's words struck the interrogator like a bolt from the blue, leaving him so shocked he almost fell off his chair.

Almost instinctively, the interrogator stood up abruptly, staring wide-eyed at Wang Jun with disbelief, while shouting at the top of his lungs, "What are you doing?"
