Lu Siqiao doesn't understand the world of the rich.
She gently stirred her milk tea and sighed, "Brother Chengze, I'm worried that Chen Luoxia will reveal my true identity, and the Fang family will take me back."
“I thought Chen Luoxia valued her reputation, but I was wrong. My godfather said that the Fang Group is in a mess right now, and Chen Luoxia is eager to relinquish her position as chairman. Without any concerns, she will take me back after weighing the benefits and then find a way to donate my kidney to Fang Dingding,” Lu Siqiao said with a frown.
Upon hearing this, Cheng Ze quickly said, "Qiaowa, don't be afraid, I will protect you."
What's infuriating is that they are all minors, so even if He Zhangzhi were to take charge, it wouldn't be legitimate.
The Fang family would not allow their own flesh and blood to be left to wander outside.
Thinking about all this gave Cheng Ze a headache.
Lu Siqiao lowered her eyes, her voice tinged with a sense of loss: "If they were truly family, what would it matter if I donated a kidney to Fang Dingding? At least it would save a life. I hate Chen Luoxia and her daughter for disregarding family ties and hurting me time and time again!"
“I just wanted to live, I never intended to hurt anyone,” she whispered. “Why won’t they let me go?”
Cheng Ze comforted her, "I've heard that Grandma Fang is a strict disciplinarian, and my grandfather is on good terms with her. With her protecting you in the future, even Chen Luoxia won't be able to touch you."
As the two walked out of Qiao's house, they saw several people gathered at the door.
After squeezing through, Lu Siqiao saw an elderly woman in her sixties lying unconscious on the roadside, convulsing, while the driver next to her was making a phone call on his mobile phone.
"The old lady has probably had a stroke. Even if the ambulance comes, she probably won't make it."
"That's so pitiful, she suddenly fainted, it scared me to death!"
I could hear the whispers of passersby.
But no one dared to step forward to save them.
Cheng Ze went up to try and save the person.
Lu Siqiao pulled him back and whispered, "Brother Ze, be careful."
"Qiaowa, I know some simple first aid measures." Cheng Ze pried open the old lady's mouth, cleaned away the dirt, and then loosened her collar to perform CPR on her.
"What do you want? Get out of here! If anything happens to my old lady, you will be held responsible!"
"Kid, did you hear me?!"
Seeing that Cheng Ze did not react, the driver became angry and tried to pull him away.
Lu Siqiao stood in front, shouting sternly, "Don't move! Otherwise, your old lady will die!"
"What are you saying, little girl? I've already called an ambulance. Don't cause trouble here!" the driver yelled angrily.
Seeing that Cheng Ze had pressed the buttons dozens of times but the old lady still hadn't reacted, and fearing that he was being extorted, Lu Siqiao had a sudden inspiration. She took out a bottle of emergency medicine from her space, ran over, pried open the old lady's mouth, and dripped a few drops into it.
"What did you feed my old lady? This is ridiculous! If anything happens to her, you're dead!" The driver rushed forward to stop him, but it was too late.
In a fit of anger, he grabbed Lu Siqiao by the collar and yelled, "Where are your parents? Tell them to come here!"
Lu Siqiao pretended to be scared: "I only gave her water, nothing else."
"Water? Do you know my wife's condition? Can she drink anything she wants? You're so ungrateful!" the driver said aggressively.
Cheng Ze shielded Lu Siqiao behind him and said solemnly, "I performed CPR on the old lady and had no intention of offending her."
"What CPR? What do you know, little brat! You wait here. If anything happens to my mother, you'll be held responsible," the driver insisted.
Lu Siqiao peeked out from behind Cheng Ze, indignantly saying, "Hey, we were trying to help people. If you act like this, who will dare to help people in the future?"
"You're sharp-tongued. If you have something to say, wait until the police arrive." The driver grabbed Cheng Ze, and the two began to scuffle.
At that moment, a weak sound came from the ground.
"Ah Dong, stop!"
The old lady opened her eyes and said in a deep voice.
Seeing this, the driver quickly stepped forward to help her up. "Madam, I've already called an ambulance for you. Please bear with it a little longer."
"I feel much better." The old lady raised her eyes, scanning Cheng Ze and Lu Siqiao with sharp eyes. "Did you two save me?"
“It was my brother Ze who saved you,” Lu Siqiao said, pointing at Cheng Ze.
Cheng Ze bent down and asked with concern, "Grandma, are you feeling better?"
The old lady nodded and then asked, "What did you give me to drink?"
Cheng Ze looked at Lu Siqiao.
Lu Siqiao quickly replied, "It's a nutrient solution. My grandfather isn't in good health, so I always carry some with me."
The old woman held out her hand and said, "Little girl, is there any more?"
She was convinced that it was this nutrient solution that restored her energy.
Although she fainted, she heard everything that was happening outside.
Lu Siqiao took out a bottle about the size of a finger, which was only half full.
She handed it to the old lady, who took it and drank it all in one gulp.
The driver tried to stop her but couldn't, and said angrily, "Madam, this girl's things are of unknown origin. Be careful, it might be a scam."
The old lady glared at him, and he immediately shut up.
"Young lady, can you help me up?" The old lady ignored him and reached out her hand to Lu Siqiao.
Lu Siqiao was extremely puzzled by her inexplicable kindness, but considering her age, she obediently helped her up.
Cheng Ze came over and offered a helping hand.
Lu Siqiao helped her to sit down at the entrance of Qiao's house, and then ran inside to order her a cup of warm milk.
After drinking a glass of warm milk, the old lady's complexion improved considerably. She breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "Child, thank you. What's your name?"
For some reason, she felt a sense of closeness to this child.
"Hello Grandma, my name is Qiao Wa," Lu Siqiao said cheerfully.
"Qiaowa?" Miao Yu's pupils constricted sharply upon hearing the name, and she asked coldly, "What's your full name?"
Lu Siqiao and Cheng Ze exchanged a glance before Lu Siqiao said, "Lu Siqiao."
"You don't look like a local?" Miao Yu asked tentatively.
Lu Siqiao obediently replied, "I'm from City A."
"So you're He Zhangzhi's grandson, a child of the Cheng family?" Miao Yu glanced at Cheng Ze again.
Cheng Ze frowned slightly, then suddenly exclaimed, "Could it be that you are the Fang family's matriarch, Grandma Miao?"
Upon hearing this, Lu Siqiao stood up as if by reflex.
It was actually Old Madam Fang!
"Sit down," Miao Yu said quickly, glancing at her.
Lu Siqiao blinked and quickly gave in, sitting down.
Miao Yu looked her up and down, her eyes gleaming with appreciation: "Not bad."
"Did Chen Luoxia tell you about me?" Lu Siqiao asked in a low voice.
Miao Yu remained silent.
"I will not acknowledge the Fang family again," Lu Siqiao said stubbornly.
She felt a sense of resistance towards the Fang family.
"It's not up to you to decide."
"The Fang family's children cannot be left to wander outside!"
Miao Yu spoke in a cold voice, exuding an oppressive aura.
