"Sister Rumeng, welcome back to Xiushui Village."
Yun Aiguo walked towards the stone table with a sad heart. When he arrived in front of Old Madam Chu, he quickly hid his emotions and greeted her with a smile.
When Old Madam Chu heard footsteps, she looked up and her eyes immediately fell on Yun Aiguo.
"You are patriotic."
Yun Aiguo nodded excitedly: "It's me. I haven't seen you for over 20 years. I didn't expect that Sister Rumeng would recognize me when we met. It's such an honor for me."
"This is your home. If I didn't recognize you, I would be a fool."
Yun Aiguo spoke in a teasing tone, and Old Madam Chu also imitated him and teased him.
"I haven't seen you for more than 20 years, and you are still as patriotic and energetic as ever. I am getting old."
"Sister Rumeng, you haven't aged at all. You're still as intelligent and gentle as you were more than 20 years ago."
After reminiscing about the past with Yun Aiguo, Old Madam Chu waved and called the Third Master to her side.
"Yu'er, this is your grandpa Yun Aiguo, call him grandpa quickly."
"Hello, Grandpa Yun, my name is Chu Yu."
Although the third master was indifferent, he was still very polite in front of the friend that grandma respected. He not only called Yun Aiguo properly, but also bowed to Yun Aiguo respectfully.
“Hey.”
Yun Aiguo hurriedly responded, looking at the Third Master, and said with a smile: "This child has a full forehead, clear eyebrows and beautiful eyes. He is really good-looking. You can tell at a glance that he is a blessed child."
"Yu'er is a child from Huaicheng."
Madam Chu sighed slightly: "This child is quite good-looking, but it's a pity that Huaicheng and his wife are unlucky and won't be able to see what this child looks like when he grows up."
Chu Huaicheng was born in Xiushui Village. Yun Aiguo was still holding him. He was about to ask Chu Huaicheng how he had been doing over the years and why they hadn't gone back to Xiushui Village together. But when he heard what Mrs. Chu said, he quickly swallowed the words that were about to come out of his mouth.
It is such a painful thing for an old person to see his young one die. No wonder Sister Rumeng looks so old and thin.
He shifted his gaze back to Madam Chu, and saw that Madam Chu's mood was becoming increasingly heavy.
"Sister Rumeng, Xiaopingzi and I's son is your son. Oh, and our son's name is Yongcheng. If you need any help in the future, just use that brat. He's tall and strong, and has plenty of strength."
Yun Yongcheng came out of the house wearing a coat and just happened to hear the conversation between his father and Old Madam Chu. He almost tripped on the threshold again.
My mom said he was stupid!
My dad said he was tall and strong!
Is he his biological son? How could biological parents describe their son like this?
"Aiguo, are you going out with the basket on your back? Go and do your work. Don't worry about us, the grandparents and grandchildren."
Old Madam Chu noticed the backpack on Yun Aiguo and hurriedly reminded him.
Yun Aiguo: "I'm going to the field to cut some grass for the pigs. I'll be back soon."
"Yongcheng, spend some quality time talking to your Aunt Rumeng. Oh, and tell your mom to kill that spotted hen and make some soup to welcome your nephew."
Yun Aiguo walked out with the basket on his back, while giving instructions to Yun Yongcheng.
Cluck!
The spotted hen that was leisurely strolling in the yard was frightened and rushed into the kitchen, leaving behind her chicks. She ran to Yunmian's feet and curled up in a ball.
It’s really hard to cook chicken. I worry about being plucked and put into the pot every day.
Young Master San chased the chicken to the kitchen door and was shocked to see the spotted hen lying at Yunmian's feet, looking for protection.
This is chicken essence!
