"Okay, I'll ask for you later!" Gao Datong agreed with a smile.
The meal was a great success, lasting for more than two hours.
Everyone was flushed and drunk, and their gazes toward Zhang Cheng had changed from scrutiny to awe.
After the dinner, Zhang Tian made proper arrangements for Zhang Cheng to stay at the Jialong Hotel, the most upscale hotel in Jiaxing.

Wei Zhengfang frowned, his expression grave.
"I spent a lot of money to hire someone to inquire in Funing, it's absolutely true."
“That kid is extremely famous in Funing and has been promoted by the local government as a role model for young people.”
"Moreover, he is by no means some country bumpkin; behind him stands Jiang Yuhong of Shanghai."
Wei Zhengfang flicked his cigarette ash and continued, "Think about it, without Jiang Yuhong pushing him from behind, could a poor kid have built such a large business in just six months? Nobody would believe it!"
Upon hearing this, Feng Sanyao's sarcasm deepened.
"It turns out that Jiang Yuhong, that old fox, pushed him to the forefront as a puppet."
"He sent this kid to Jiaxing simply to try and get a share of the profits on our turf."
Wei Zhengfang pondered for a moment and then asked, "What do you think of the industrial park plan?"

Feng Sanyao scoffed, stubbed out his cigar in the ashtray, his eyes filled with greed.
"He wants to build an industrial park, so he needs land, right?"
"The land has to be bought from the people. Will the people of Jiaxing listen to this outsider, or to our Jiaxing gang?"
"Once he begs and pleads to get the land, how can he possibly do without our approval for steel bars, cement, and labor?"
He chuckled, as if he could already see countless banknotes beckoning to him.
"This kid is a dragon. When we get to Jiaxing, he'll have to be treated like royalty!"
Wei Zhengfang, however, felt it wasn't that simple and reminded him, "I've heard that he's planning to involve the municipal government in this."
Feng Sanyao waved his hand dismissively.
"City Hall?"
"Is Zhang Cheng more familiar with the city, or with me, Feng Sanyao?"
"Besides, don't forget, we still have Young Master Zhao, this real Buddha, keeping us in check!"
Wei Zhengfang was slightly relieved, but the unease in his heart lingered.

Zhang Cheng and Gao Datong sat facing each other, the air still thick with the smell of alcohol.
Zhang Cheng personally brewed a pot of hot tea for Gao Datong, his movements unhurried and deliberate.
"Brother Gao, have some tea to sober up."
Gao Datong didn't touch his teacup. His usual warm demeanor at the dinner was completely different. His eyes were sharp as knives as he stared intently at Zhang Cheng.
“Brother Zhang, there are no outsiders here, so tell me the truth.”
"What exactly do you want to do in Jiaxing?"
Zhang Cheng picked up his teacup and smiled, "Brother Gao, didn't we talk about this at the dinner table? Come and invest, and contribute to the economic development of Jiaxing."
Don't try that on me!
Gao Datong slammed his hand on the table, his voice extremely low, "You have deep roots and an extensive network of connections in Funing, why bother coming all the way to Jiaxing to cause trouble?"
"Don't tell me the officials in Funing will just watch your cash cow get away!"
He leaned forward and said, word by word, "I've investigated Zhang Zhongming's matter; it was a trap set by the Jiaxing gang."
"But why would they bother with such an insignificant nobody?"
"The only explanation is that their target is you!"
Gao Datong's gaze seemed to pierce through Zhang Cheng's heart.
"Last time the treasury bonds were robbed, and this time Zhang Zhongming was forced to flee for his life. You're not here to invest at all."
"You've come for revenge!"
"You've come to start a war with the Jiaxing Gang!"
Gao Datong practically shouted out the last few words, earnestly advising, "Brother, listen to my advice, this is Jiaxing! The waters are too deep! You can't fight them!"
Faced with Gao Datong's harsh words, Zhang Cheng smiled.
He slowly removed the gold-rimmed glasses from his nose and casually placed them on the table. His entire aura instantly changed; his gentle and refined appearance vanished, revealing a deep and unfathomable sharpness.
"Brother Gao, you're absolutely right."
He admitted it casually.
“Last time, one of my fellow villagers died here.”
"This time, yet another fellow villager has been forced to leave his home."
Zhang Cheng's tone was calm, yet it carried a hint of bloodshed.
"This grudge is truly irreconcilable."
As expected! Gao Datong's heart sank, his face full of bitterness: "Brother, I know you have great influence, but even a powerful dragon can't suppress a local snake..."
"Brother Gao."
Zhang Cheng interrupted him and asked in return, "Why do you always feel that I'm here to 'fight' them?"
Gao Datong was stunned: "You've already admitted you're here for revenge, so if you don't fight, are you going to invite them to dinner?"
Zhang Cheng laughed heartily, his laughter tinged with disdain.
"Brother Gao, my industrial park plan is real."
Gao Datong frowned: "You want to use the industrial park as a trap to lure them in? Feng Sanyao and his gang are all shrewd people, how could they possibly fall for it!"
"Once people are blinded by greed, they lose control of themselves."
Zhang Cheng's eyes suddenly became incredibly sharp, as if they could see right through people's hearts.
"I'm willing to bet my entire fortune and my life on this."
"Tell me, why shouldn't they join the game?"
