Zhang Cheng remained motionless, like a piece of withered wood.
Snow wolves are extremely cunning.
No one can guarantee that there aren't other "eyes" lurking nearby.
Making a sound now would only scare away any potential prey.
The firelight in the village grew brighter and brighter.

Just now, that wolf outside Hongzhuang’s cowshed, he killed it with a single shot! You didn’t see the wolf’s carcass, my goodness, the bullet hole was right in its throat, it’s dead for good!”
Zhang Furong chuckled, a hint of schadenfreude in his voice: "If you ask me, Old Zhang and his wife are truly blind. Just for a share of the inheritance, they insisted on kicking out their formidable son, along with his crazy wife..."
Before the words were even finished!
The smile on Zhang Furong's face froze instantly!
His eyes widened suddenly, staring intently at what was behind Zhang Zhongliang, a gurgling sound coming from his throat as if something was choking him!
Zhang Zhongliang's heart skipped a beat, and a chill instantly shot from his tailbone to the top of his head!
There wasn't time to think it through!
Almost instinctively, he lunged to the side!
His entire body slumped into the thick snowdrift!
"Wolf!!!"
Zhang Furong finally roared out!
Fear gripped his heart, but having spent years working in the mountains and forests, he did not completely panic!
He suddenly raised the torch in his hand and, with all his might, smashed it down on the hideous black shadow that had silently pounced from the darkness!
"Bang!!!"
The torch struck the snow wolf squarely on the head!
However!
The impact of a snow wolf lunging forward is immense!
The torch was actually blasted away, sparks flying everywhere!
The wolf's jaws were wide open, its fangs bared!
A foul, fishy stench hit me!
Just as those gleaming wolf claws were about to tear Zhang Furong's chest apart!
"Bang!!"
Another deafening gunshot rang out suddenly!
Zhang Furong felt a violent jolt in his body, and was knocked to the ground by a tremendous force!
Warm, viscous liquid sprayed all over his face and body!
It's blood!
Wolf blood!
It had a strong, fishy stench!
Zhang Furong's scream and the sudden gunshot immediately attracted the attention of all the villagers nearby!
Torches flickered, voices clamored, and everyone rushed toward this place like madmen!
"Brother Cai! Are you alright?!"
Zhang Zhongliang scrambled out of the snowdrift, his face still covered in snow, and in a panic kicked away the wolf carcass that was pressing down on Zhang Furong.
"Cough cough cough!"
Zhang Furong was nearly knocked unconscious by the weight of the wolf carcass. He coughed violently a few times before Zhang Zhongliang pulled and dragged him up.
He wiped the wolf blood from his face and looked at the dead wolf, still shaken.
Snow Wolf's entire eye socket was blasted to pieces by bullets!
The body was covered in red and white substances, and the death was extremely gruesome!
Zhang Furong felt a wave of fear. Just now, he was only a hair's breadth away from death!
That marksmanship...it's simply divine!
Just then, the snowdrift not far away began to shake.
Zhang Cheng stood up, brushed the snow off his clothes, and walked over calmly.
Zhang Furong and Zhang Zhongliang were both dumbfounded.
The two of them whispered to each other for a long time without realizing that Zhang Cheng was hiding less than ten steps away from them!
Is this kid some kind of ghost?!
"Er Gouzi! You...you really are him!" Zhang Furong, still shaken, gave Zhang Cheng a trembling thumbs-up, momentarily speechless.
"Holy crap! Brother Cai, why is your face covered in blood?! Are you disfigured?" A young villager ran over and exclaimed when he saw Zhang Furong's appearance.
"Er Gouzi! You're awesome! You took down another one!"

Zhang Cheng ignored the noise around him.
He quickly drew several bright yellow bullets from his waist and loaded them into the chamber of his shotgun.
His expression remained solemn, without the slightest sign of relaxation.
Only one snow wolf was dealt with...
So, what about the other wolves?
Where are they now?!
"Uncles, the wolves are probably in a panic..."
"Bang bang bang!!!"
Before Zhang Cheng could finish speaking!
Suddenly, a burst of gunfire erupted from the direction of the village entrance!
Like popping beans, it crackled and popped!
The crowd was stunned for a moment, then burst into a huge cheer!
"Hahaha! The wolf cubs have shown themselves!"

"This time, we must wipe them out without leaving a single one alive, to avenge the Hammer family!"
The villagers, who were still filled with fear, seemed to have been injected with a powerful stimulant. Their faces turned red, and they brandished their weapons, howling as they rushed toward the village entrance.
Zhang Cheng raised an eyebrow, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes, as if something was amiss.
The wolves' behavior was highly unusual!
