Chapter 212 Help Me!

Feng Sanyao's body suddenly leaned forward, his uninjured left arm drawing a cruel arc in the air.

"Smack!"

The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the deathly silent hospital room.

He slapped the young man hard across the face.

"Damn it!"

Feng Sanyao's eyes were bloodshot, and he looked like a mad tiger, spitting all over the young man's face.

"I've been feeding and taking good care of you for eight whole years!"

"Right now, you can't even find a single Huang Pinyu!"

"What use are you to me? Tell me, isn't it better to keep a few guard dogs than to keep you all?!"

The young man's cheeks were swollen from the beating, and blood seeped from the corners of his mouth, but he didn't even flinch.

He remained silent, his tongue pressed firmly against the inside of his mouth, and beneath his swollen cheeks was an undercurrent of suppressed emotion.

"I want Huang Pinyu dead! Now, immediately, right now! Do you hear me?!" Feng Sanyao roared hysterically.

"Don't worry, boss."

The young man finally spoke, his voice hoarse as if sandpaper was being rubbed, "As long as Huang Pinyu is still in Jiaxing, I will bring his head to you before dawn."

Feng Sanyao was breathing heavily, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the young man, and he squeezed out a voice through clenched teeth: "I'll trust you one last time."

"If you find Huang Pinyu, you will still be my tools, Feng Sanyao's knives."

"If I can't find you after dawn... then take your brothers and get back to the mountains to be eaten by the wolves!"

"Boss, I'll leave ten men here to protect you."

The young man straightened up, walked to the bedside, pulled a cold Type 54 pistol from his waist, and silently stuffed it under Feng Sanyao's pillow.

His voice was extremely low, like a venomous snake close to the ground.

"Boss, keep this for self-defense."

Feng Sanyao nodded slowly with a sullen face.

"Boss, I'm leaving."

"roll!"

The young man straightened his javelin-like back, turned around, and strode out of the ward.

In the corridor outside the door, dozens of burly men with imposing presences all turned their gazes to him in an instant.

The young man raised his hand and gently wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his thumb. Looking at the crimson on his fingertip, a cold sneer curled at the corner of his mouth.

He looked around at everyone, his voice not loud, but it carried an undeniable ruthlessness.

"Leave ten brothers to guard the boss."

"The rest of you, come with me, and turn Jiaxing upside down!"

"Before dawn, I want Huang Pinyu, alive or dead, to appear before me."

"Yes, Sixth Brother!"

The response was like a mountain roar and a tsunami, shaking the dust off the corridor ceiling.

The young man shrank his neck, raised his hand to turn up his collar, covering half of his face, and disappeared into the shadows at the stairwell like a lone wolf in the night.

...

at the same time.

On the outskirts of Jiaxing, an abandoned textile dyeing factory reeks of pungent chemicals mixed with the decay of death.

In the office, Huang Pinyu's face was ashen, and his eyes were vacant.

Opposite him, the young man named "A Chao," wearing a thick cotton-padded coat and with a face full of scars, was grinning, revealing two rows of teeth blackened and yellowed by tobacco.

"Boss Huang, right now both the legitimate and criminal elements in Jiaxing are looking for us like mad dogs."

Ah Chao's smile was radiant, but his triangular eyes held a ferocious, beast-like glint.

"Tell me, who is behind all this?"

Huang Pinyu took a deep breath of the cold air, slowly closed his eyes, and his mind was a complete mess.

The gunmen who massacred Li Bingyang's villa were not his men.

"Who is it...?"

Huang Pinyu whispered in despair.

One bloody incident after another, like an invisible hand, tore the once invincible Jiaxing Gang to shreds, forcing them to kill each other.

Logically, the ultimate beneficiary should be the mastermind behind the scenes.

But he couldn't figure it out.

Who are the beneficiaries?

Zhang Cheng from Funing?

impossible.

An outsider with no roots in Jiaxing, even if the Jiaxing gang were wiped out, that enormous business would never fall into his hands.

Are they those out-of-town businessmen?

Even less likely.

The thugs that group employed were all showy but useless cowards. They had money, but they didn't have the guts to rewrite the underground order of Jiaxing with gunfire.

Do they really think the municipal party committee members are just sitting around doing nothing?

What they need is a prosperous and stable Jiaxing, not a sinful city filled with bullets.

Huang Pinyu felt as if he were completely enveloped by a thick, impenetrable black mist, unable to see a single ray of light.

"Ah Chao," Huang Pinyu suddenly opened his eyes, his voice hoarse, "Can you arrange to meet Feng Sanyao? I need to talk to him; we can't go on like this!"

Ah Chao seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world, and exaggeratedly picked at his ear.

"Boss Huang, did I hear that right? Feng Sanyao's mad dog 'Liu Zi' is searching the whole city for you, trying to bite your neck off!"

"So, Mr. Huang, perhaps you should rephrase your statement?" Ah Chao grinned, his smile full of sarcasm.

Huang Pinyu had a splitting headache and pressed his hand tightly against his forehead.

"The gunmen who massacred the Li family have absolutely nothing to do with us..."

"Mr. Huang, who will believe what you're saying now?"

Ah Chao shrugged indifferently, "Instead of guessing here, let's think about how to strike first and kill Feng Sanyao."

"If he dies, wouldn't all the problems be solved?"

Huang Pinyu remained silent.

He knew that Feng Sanyao's influence in Jiaxing was deeply entrenched, especially his connections in both the legitimate and criminal worlds, which far surpassed his own.
