Meng Kangshun returned in the dark, arriving at the Meng family's old house after a long and arduous journey, only to find the courtyard empty and devoid of any human presence.
After finally catching Li Quan and asking him, they learned that his whole family had moved to the county town.

Su Xiulan and Su Xiumei also rushed over to help unload the things.
"Just go home, why bring so much stuff? We have everything we need at home."
Upon seeing Meng Shuyun's hand, Meng Kangshun instantly tensed up, his face filled with concern. "Mother, what happened to your hand? Is it serious?"
"It's nothing, a minor issue. Just go to the hospital to change the dressing on time," Meng Shuyun waved her hand, explaining nonchalantly.
At this moment, Gu Xue pushed Su Xiangnan out.
Su Xiangnan's eyes were cold as he looked at Meng Kangshun's concerned face and then glanced at Meng Shuyun, who was all smiles.
The scene was so jarring that he couldn't help but let out a cold snort.
"Where's Xiuju? I haven't seen her." Meng Kangshun asked, full of doubt.
"My aunt went to a birthday party and hasn't come back yet."
The two sisters, unable to contain their curiosity any longer, began rummaging through the cloth bag, their eyes filled with anticipation.
Upon seeing this, Su Xiumei immediately scolded, "These are my uncle's things. How can you touch them like that? You have no manners at all! Come back here!"

As he spoke, he personally unpacked the items, giving each of the two sisters a cloth bag, and Su Xiumei and Su Xiulan each a cloth pouch. Even Gu Xue received a gift.
"You've wasted so much money on all this trouble, haven't you?" Meng Shuyun complained.
"No, no, they're just little trinkets, Mom. They're for you."
After distributing everything, he opened the largest cloth bag on the back of his bicycle, which contained some pearls and lace.
Meng Shuyun was so surprised she couldn't close her mouth. "How did you come up with the idea of buying these?"
Meng Kangshun scratched his head a little embarrassedly, "The place where I'm on this mission has a pretty big underground shopping mall where a lot of people sell these things. I think if I clipped them onto my hair accessory, it would definitely be more attractive."
