Chapter 117 Trapped

Xu Jing stared at Su Xiuju for a long time, and that gaze made Su Xiuju feel very uncomfortable.

She took Zhang Miaomiao's hand and whispered, "Miaomiao, it's getting late, why don't we call it a day and go home? Happy birthday today!"

This originally beautiful birthday party became dull and uninteresting because of Xu Jing's appearance.

"It's getting late, so let's call it a day. Thank you all for coming, and I really like all the gifts."

Zhang Miaomiao addressed the crowd.

As everyone left one after another, Xu Jing gave Zhang Miaomiao and Su Xiuju a deep look before leading his men out of the banquet hall.

He summoned his henchman, whispered a few instructions in his ear, his eyes full of calculation.

Su Xiuju helped Zhang Miaomiao pack her things, and didn't forget the cake her niece had been longing for. After getting Zhang Miaomiao's permission, she packed a box of cakes for her.

She called over a waiter to pack everything up and even helped carry the gifts to the car.

When they were about to leave the banquet hall, they found that they couldn't open the door.

With a "snap," the lights in the room suddenly went out.

Zhang Miaomiao screamed in terror, and Su Xiuju trembled with fear. The darkness made her pupils constrict instantly, as if she had returned to that suffocating place.

Su Xiuju held Zhang Miaomiao's hand tightly and comforted her, "Don't be afraid, it's probably just a power outage. I brought a flashlight."

She turned on her flashlight, and a beam of light shone on the ground, illuminating the surroundings. Both of them saw the paleness on each other's faces.

"I'm so sorry to have dragged you into this, Xiuju. It must have been that bastard Xu Jing who did this!"

Zhang Miaomiao said through gritted teeth.

"I'm fine. The most important thing now is to get out of here."

As Su Xiuju spoke, she pounded on the door, had Zhang Miaomiao hold a flashlight, and then picked up a chair and smashed it against the door.

In that dark room, she had no tools and her movements were restricted, but she still managed to escape.

The environment here is much better than before. She has a hundred ways to get out and will definitely not be trapped in this awful place.

"Don't waste your energy."

Xu Jing's voice suddenly came from behind them.

Several beams of light shone over, and a few of Xu Jing's cronies followed behind her, shining flashlights directly on them.
