At noon, gunshots rang out.
A dark cloud drifted across the sky, bringing a chilly atmosphere. Soon after, a gust of wind blew the cloud away.

Su Dahai walked in leaning on his crutches; his leg had improved considerably.
His gray eyes were devoid of any vitality, only a deathly stillness remained.
Looking at Su Dahai in front of her, Meng Shuyun felt that he had aged a few years since the last time they met.
If the two of them stood together, an uninformed person would really think that Su Dahai was her father.
Su Dahai froze when he saw Meng Shuyun's whole family there.
"You, you..."
His voice trembled. Last time, Meng Shuyun had said she would come to see him make a fool of himself.
He had no idea that his children had come to visit him specifically for this occasion.
“We’re here to ask for our household registration booklets,” Meng Shuyun said directly.

Meng Shuyun frowned and pounded on the door, the "bang bang" sound particularly loud in the quiet environment.
Su Xiumei's face instantly turned red to the roots of her neck.

Qin Hongying initially intended to ignore it, but upon hearing this, she remembered that Su Dahai's household registration book was indeed with her.

Meng Shuyun saw a dark-faced man walk out of the house; he looked to be at least sixty or seventy years old.
She suddenly asked, "How much do you pay Qin Hongying for sleeping with her? She said I was disturbing her business. I know the price so I can compensate her."
The man looked at Meng Shuyun and Su Xiumei behind her with a strange expression, his eyes darting around.
"Five yuan a time, what, you want to do this job too? Which apartment building do you live in? I've never seen you before."
Meng Shuyun stood in front of Su Xiumei, brandishing a kitchen knife, and said coldly, "I'm here to collect a debt. Give me the money, or I'll chop you up too."
The man was startled and initially didn't quite believe it, but when he saw Qin Hongying hiding behind him with a look of fear on her face, he knew something terrible was about to happen.
He grumbled and threw down five yuan, then quickly left.
Qin Hongying is now terrified at the sight of a kitchen knife; she still vividly remembers Jiang Xue's ruthless appearance.
She subconsciously touched her flat nose.
She yelled at Meng Shuyun, her voice trembling, a stark contrast to her previous arrogant demeanor, "You, you stay away! The money is mine, give it back to me!"
"I'll give you five yuan and your household registration booklet as compensation for disturbing your money-making."
