She had been preparing for this job for so long, it should have been hers, so why should it be Su Xiuju's and not hers?
Meng Shuyun wouldn't tolerate her; someone who throws a tantrum and acts unreasonably will be taught a lesson after a beating.
Qin Hongying, carrying a handbag, was boasting to someone that her daughter worked at the train station as a broadcaster.
Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the office building and her heart clenched. Her eldest daughter was being beaten on top of someone!
"Meng Shuyun, you bastard, why did you hit my daughter for no reason?" Qin Hongying slammed her handbag at Meng Shuyun.
Meng Shuyun was not one to be trifled with either. She stood up, grabbed Qin Hongying's hair, and slapped her twice.
"You've come at the right time, saving me the trouble of looking for you. It's you two who tried to steal my daughter's job, so I'll beat you up too."
"That job was given to my daughter by Su Dahai. You're clearly trying to steal my daughter's job!" Qin Hongying shouted at the top of her lungs. She was no pushover either, and she started fighting with Meng Shuyun.
Su Xiuju looked worried and anxious, wanting to step forward to help, but she couldn't get a hand in the matter.
Just then, two security guards ran over and stopped the farce, and all four were taken to the mediation room.
Zhang Miaomiao rode in on her motorcycle and saw Meng Shuyun and her daughter being taken to the mediation room, which puzzled her.
"Why is that old lady here?" I parked my motorcycle and walked towards the mediation room.
Inside the mediation room, Qin Hongying and her daughter were crying and sobbing, their hair disheveled and their appearance extremely disarrayed.
In contrast, Meng Shuyun and Su Xiuju were leisurely drinking water, creating a stark contrast between the two.
Qin Hongying tearfully recounted her grievances to the security captain, her snot and tears streaming down her face.
"Comrades, thank goodness you arrived in time, otherwise we would have been bullied to death by this vicious mother and daughter. Not only did they steal my daughter's job, but they also beat her up. It's really too much."
Meng Shuyun slammed the enamel mug she was holding onto the table with a loud bang, startling Qin Hongying across from her, who immediately stopped crying.

Meng Shuyun watched as the security guard was so bewitched by Qin Hongying that he could only see but not hear.

Su Xiuju twisted her fingers together, looking at the three people who were twisting the truth, her heart filled with grievance and anger. "This job is mine, you're just turning black into white."
The security captain's authority was questioned, so he slammed his fist on the table, making a deafening noise.
"I call the shots here. Just because you say it's yours doesn't mean it is. Do you have any proof?"
I saw it clearly; it was you who beat Comrade Qin first, and you even used excessive force.
This is intentional assault. Even if the police come, they will arrest you. I am a witness.
Qin Hongying wiped away her tears, her eyes filled with schadenfreude.
Meng Shuyun still wanted to fight her, but in the end, the job still belonged to them, Da Ya.
Qin Daya slammed her hand on the table. "That's right, call the police and arrest you all." The movement was too forceful, aggravating her wound and causing her to hiss in pain. "We were beaten so badly, and now we have to pay for medical expenses."

A voice suddenly came from the door of the mediation room. Su Dongmei pushed the door open and entered, followed by Zhang Miaomiao, who was smiling.
Upon seeing that it was Director Su, the security guard quickly stepped forward to greet him, rubbing his hands together and explaining, "Director Su, it's just a misunderstanding. We can mediate and settle it privately. It's nothing serious."

Su Xiuju stood up, looked at Su Dongmei with a hesitant expression, but ultimately remained silent.
Meng Shuyun also stood up and clearly explained the whole story. Seeing Qin Hongying still watching the show from the sidelines, she couldn't help but laugh.
This woman's rise to the position of director wasn't something that could be fooled with a few words of nonsense.
Su Dongmei's sharp gaze shot towards Qin Daya, her tone serious: "Comrade Qin Daya, I made it clear during the interview that you do not meet our recruitment standards. Please leave immediately."
