She turned and walked out of the operating room, looking around, but Ye Jianguo was nowhere to be seen.
Just as I was about to ask a nurse to call for help, I caught a glimpse of the end of the corridor where Old Lady Zhao was standing there crying, and next to her on a stretcher was none other than Ye Jianguo.
Looking further back, there was another stretcher, and lying on it was Liu Xiaomeng, clutching her stomach and screaming in pain.
What's going on? Why are they all at the hospital at the same time?
Meng Shuyun grabbed Zhao Weiying's arm and said anxiously, "Doctor, I need to go in and be with you during childbirth."

Zhao Weiying hadn't expected Meng Shuyun to be so stubborn. If Meng Shuyun were allowed in, who knew how the surgery would be messed up?
She raised her voice and said impatiently, "Auntie, I understand how you feel, but the pregnant woman is about to give birth. If you stop me from going in like this, you're harming your daughter, do you know that?"
Zhao Weiying was seething with anger, secretly blaming Ye Jianguo for letting her down at this crucial moment, which had caused her to end up in the emergency room.
She shouted loudly outside, "Where are the pregnant woman's family members?"
"Come out quickly! Any further delay could endanger the pregnant woman!"
She hoped that these words would make Meng Shuyun back down.
Seeing this, Su Xiuju hurriedly stepped forward, took Meng Shuyun's arm, and said with a firm look in her eyes, "I am the pregnant woman's sister, and I agree to let my mother go in to accompany her during childbirth."
