His gaze was icy, fixed directly on Su Xiangbei's face, which was etched with greed, and a mocking smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
"Whether I have enough to eat, whether my leg will heal, and my pension—what does that have to do with you?"
"You're saying all this just for my compensation? If I didn't have that money, would you be begging me like this?"
Su Xiangnan's words were like a sharp knife, piercing Su Xiangbei's heart. His expression instantly froze and cracked.
"You eat my food, drink my water, and live in my house. Now that I'm asking you for a favor, shouldn't I be doing you a favor?"
Su Xiangbei's face flushed red and then paled, and he almost couldn't maintain his pitiful expression. He suppressed his anger and spoke again.

Su Dahai: "Isn't it all because of your chicken that Xiaoxue went into premature labor and is now seriously ill? It's all your fault, so it's only right that you pay for it."
Su Xiangbei jumped up and down, saying, "If you had thrown that chicken far away earlier, none of this mess would have happened today!"
The father and son, acting in unison, resembled two fighting cocks, their attacks all directed at Meng Shuyun.
