Zhao Di and Pan Di rushed over and hugged her legs.
"Brother Mingshen, sister-in-law," Du Mei greeted them with a smile.
Su Xueli hugged the two girls and exclaimed in surprise, "How long have you been here? Look how red your faces are from the cold."
Du Mei chuckled and said, "I was afraid of being late, so I came early to wait for you."
Wei Mingshen quickly carried the two little girls into the carriage and said, "Sister-in-law, you and Xue Li should sit down quickly and cover yourselves with the blankets so you won't be cold."
Two adults and four children sat in the mule cart. Wei Mingshen jumped onto the shaft and cracked his whip in the air. The mule obeyed and started walking. It began to trot after leaving the alley and started running fast when it reached the main road.
The two little girls nestled in Su Xueli's arms, their eyes darting excitedly outside. Zhaodi asked, "Auntie, what's the city like? Are there only tall buildings?"
Su Xueli shook her head and said, "Of course not. In the city, besides tall buildings, there are big trucks, small cars, big shopping malls that sell all kinds of things, and lots of delicious food. It has everything."
"Ah ah..." The two little girls stared wide-eyed.
Su Xueli said, "You two should study hard so that you can work and live in big cities in the future and enjoy the prosperity of big cities."
Du Mei smiled at Su Xueli and nodded repeatedly.
Zhao Di couldn't wait any longer and asked Du Mei, "Mom, when do I go to school?"
Du Mei said, "In another six months, you'll be six years old and you'll be able to go to school."
Zhao Di said earnestly, "I will study hard when I go to school and get into a big city in the future."
Su Xueli and Du Mei chuckled and corrected her, saying, "It's not about getting into a big city, it's about getting into university, and the university is located in a big city."
"Okay, then I'll get into university."
"I...I'll take the college entrance exam too," Little Pandi chimed in.

Su Xueli tried to comfort them, but it was no use. The two children huddled in the adults' arms, while Du Mei held the two children and huddled behind Su Xueli.
Su Xueli pointed out various places to them, which made Du Mei less nervous.
Once inside the department store, Su Xueli instructed Du Mei, "Sister-in-law, there are many people here, so don't get lost. I'll hold the child's hand, you stay close to me and Mingshen."
Du Mei stood close to Su Xueli and said, "I'll definitely stay close, I'll definitely stay close."
Su Xueli said, "Let's go upstairs to deliver the goods to Manager Gao first, and while we're at it, we'll ask where the toilet paper factory is. Then we'll come down and take the kids for a stroll."
