The old woman wailed even louder.
Wei Mingshen stood in front of her and said, "Auntie, don't cry, listen to me."
His tone, though not angry, carried an imposing authority that truly stunned the old woman who was yelling and wailing. She opened her eyes and stared at him with her mouth agape.
Wei Mingshen asked, "You're saying that Shirley wants to force you to die, right?"
The old woman said righteously, "It's this little bastard who's trying to drive me to my death! I tried to reason with her and asked her to go to town to find her brother, but she refused to go. Isn't that just trying to kill me?"
