Chapter 119 Complaint

"Come on, didn't you come to pick me up? Why aren't you moving? Are you waiting for lunch?" Wang Yuexue urged them when she saw that they weren't moving.

"Xiaoxue, your Uncle Liu has been driving for a whole day and night. Let's wait for him to rest for a day before we go back," Guan Yu said softly.

When they arrived, the three of them shared the car. At night, Lao Liu usually drove it, while during the day, Guan Yu and He Nian drove it. But that was tiring. Also, Guan Yu wanted to learn more about Tao Ying and Wang Baomin's other family members.

"It's okay, I'll drive," Wang Yuexue said nonchalantly.

"You still dare to drive?" Wang Henian couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

This girl almost lost her life, and she still dared to drive; she's really courting death.

"That's because there were stones placed in the middle of the road, it's not that my driving skills are bad." Wang Yuexue didn't think it was her fault.

"Don't you want me to stay here?" Guan Yu asked bluntly.

"Of course! Don't you two know what kind of people you are? Normally, if you could go back today, would you two stay for a whole day? Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you feel sorry for Uncle Liu. Uncle Liu could never drive for a whole day and night. You two must have taken turns driving." Wang Yuexue bluntly exposed him.

"Let's go." Guan Yu's temper flared up completely; this wretched daughter was worse than no daughter at all.

The family of three walked out of the door and saw Tao Ying and Zhou Daya waiting at the gate.

"Sister, we'll take the kids back first, and come see you again in a while," Guan Yu said to Tao Ying with a smile on her face, very politely.

Guan Yu called him "sister" wholeheartedly. Guan Yu's biggest regret in her life was that she spent her whole life teaching and educating people, but in the end, her own child had a bad relationship with her. It was not just bad, it was like they were enemies.

"Mom, wait for me to go back for a while, I'll be back in a bit," Wang Yuexue said directly.

"Okay, talk to your parents properly. In their hearts, you are still the most important person," Tao Ying said softly.

Actually, this was meant for Wang Henian and Guan Yu, to tell them that she had no intention of taking their daughter away from them.

"Mom, don't try to persuade me anymore. Don't miss me too much during this time," Wang Yuexue said reluctantly, holding onto Tao Ying.

Wang Henian and Guan Yu exchanged a glance, both seeing speechlessness in each other's eyes.

I don't know what's wrong with this child. He probably only noticed that she comes from a good family. If she were a girl from an ordinary family, she would probably have been kicked out long ago, especially since Wang Baomin doesn't seem to like her.

Also, they've only known each other for a few days, what's with this talk of love at first sight? Where did this love at first sight come from? This isn't ancient times, why are you trying to impress them with your body?

If someone doesn't like her, then that's repaying kindness with enmity.

However, neither of them dared to say anything, for fear that Wang Yuexue would refuse to go back with them later.

"Drive carefully on the road. Send a telegram to your aunt when you get home," Tao Ying said gently, ignoring Wang Yuexue's words.

"Okay, Mom." Wang Yuexue gave Tao Ying a gentle hug, then got into the car with Wang Henian and Guan Yu.

Tao Ying helped Zhou Daya, and the two of them didn't go back until the car was out of sight.

"Oh my god, that ancestor is gone. Ying'er, do you know those two people?" Zhou Daya sighed.

“I’ve met Wang Henian before,” Tao Ying explained Wang Henian’s identity to Zhou Daya.

"Oh my god, we really shouldn't invite such a living ancestor to our house," Zhou Daya said hastily, startled.

"Hey Mom, I'm planning to go out and do some research. Do you want to come along and have some fun?" Tao Ying only thought of this because of what Grandpa Wang said that day.

I used to think that my grandparents had a good relationship and that the two of them liked to spend time together, but now it seems that's not the case.

The old man didn't like the old woman's control, and the old woman seemed quite annoyed by the old man too.

Tao Ying is going out to meet downstream clients and will be bringing sales staff from two factories with her.

Because of the era, saleswoman Tao Ying only chose men.

Tao Ying's principle was that meals were acceptable, but she disliked drinking culture and insisted that nothing should be sacrificed for the sake of a contract. She emphasized that they were conducting legitimate business, and while business could be terminated, conscience was paramount.

"You're going to discuss business, why would I go with you in this freezing weather?" Zhou Daya quickly refused.

"Mom, it's not even December yet. We're going to the south. Although it's not as warm inside as it is here, it's still above freezing, so it's not that cold. I'll take you for a walk," Tao Ying suggested softly.

"It's too inconvenient to bring an old lady like me along." Zhou Daya was slightly tempted, but still declined.

"Mom, we're just going for a stroll. I'll take you to Nanjing, and then we'll discuss business. You wait for me at the hotel." Tao Ying genuinely wanted to show Zhou Daya around.

Tao Ying really liked the old lady; she was insightful and easygoing, which is something most old ladies possess.

"Shall I go take a look?" Zhou Daya asked tentatively.

"Mom, you're so good to me." Tao Ying affectionately pulled Zhou Daya along.

"We'll have Chunni and Yang Lin come home to stay then," Zhou Daya said with a smile.

"Oh, and you can't bring your dad," Zhou Daya added.

That old bastard, he despises me, doesn't he even know who he works for? Does he really think he's my son?

Now he's relying on his daughter-in-law for a living. If it weren't for her, who would he be? He really thinks he's some kind of RMB, that everyone wants him.

“Why bring my dad? It’s inconvenient. Just the two of us will go. We’re not going to Nanjing for business; we’ll go to Bengbu.” Tao Ying had no intention of bringing Grandpa Wang along.

In the old lady's words, the Wang family has a bad foundation. Although the old man usually doesn't say a word, he is actually the most selfish.
