Chapter 147 Pure Love

"Dad, Mom, could you two please keep your voices down? I can hear you." Jiang Huan looked at the two of them with a dark expression.

"I didn't tell you behind your back, did I? Are you out of your mind? Tao Ying agreed to let you take her home, and you even went inside, yet you still came back with a nosebleed." Old Madam Jiang looked at Jiang Huan with exasperation.

"Mom, I was just being respectful..." Jiang Huan wanted to explain.

"Respect your grandma my foot! How old are you both? Tao Ying isn't a young girl. She's rich and has children. What does she want from you? Is she after you because you're old and single? Isn't it all about sex? Usually, if someone your age isn't married, who knows if they're impotent? If you don't test things out before marriage, you'll end up divorced. What a hassle!" Old Madam Jiang angrily pointed at Jiang Huan's nose and started scolding him.

"If you're going to scold the child, then scold the child. Don't drag our mother into this. She's been dead for years," Grandpa Jiang whispered a reminder.

"What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? At his age, how much skill can he possibly have?" Old Madam Jiang's anger reached its peak.

Grandpa Jiang thought to himself, "..." He shouldn't have said that. His mother had been dead for so many years; she might have been reincarnated long ago.

Jiang Huan: "..." Just because Dad can't do it doesn't mean I can't.

"I'm going back now." Jiang Huan was already regretting it.

"What are you going back for? This matter depends on the right time, place, and people. You useless piece of trash," Old Madam Jiang continued to scold.

Jiang Huan was scolded by Old Madam Jiang for half an hour with his head down. He wondered why his second brother and sister-in-law didn't live at home, so that someone could draw the fire to him.

After scolding herself until she was exhausted, Old Madam Jiang stormed back to her room.

Jiang Huan returned to his room, feeling utterly exhausted. He lay there for a long time, unable to fall asleep. In the middle of the night, he suddenly sat up and slapped himself, then lay back down on the bed, feeling utterly hopeless.

When Jiang Huan arrived the next day, Tao Ying had not yet gotten up. He could only do his morning exercise near Tao Ying's house until Tao Ying got up at eight o'clock before he went inside.

"I bought you breakfast. Where would you like to go today?" Jiang Huan asked eagerly, like a little bee.

"I've arranged to visit a company with Jiang Jiang." Tao Ying had already changed her clothes and sat down to eat.

"Visit the company?" Jiang Huan's heart sank.

“Yes, that’s right. We already had a plan. My company’s supply chain needs to be expanded as soon as possible. Also, the transportation industry market is huge right now. Baomin’s transportation company has always been in short supply. Postal storage and transportation is too slow. Jiang Jiang and I are planning to open a logistics company together…” Tao Ying told Jiang Huan about her plans.

"Didn't we come here to talk about getting married?" Jiang Huan looked at Tao Ying with a pitiful expression.

"We've already agreed on the marriage, right? Now is a great time to expand our business, we have to seize the opportunity," Tao Ying replied softly.

It's only 1984 now, and plenty of opportunities await her. By 1990, Tao Ying plans to enter the stock market.

There are still six years left. By then, Baomin, Baoshan, and Chuntao will all be grown up, and they can make a fortune and retire comfortably.

Jiang Huan looked at Tao Ying with a pitiful expression, not daring to say anything, for fear that if things went wrong, Tao Ying would switch him again.

Jiang Huan listened carefully to what the old lady said yesterday.

Xiaoying isn't really forty-eight years old; she could easily find someone in their early thirties instead of an old man like him.

"Aren't you busy with things in the army?" Tao Ying felt that Jiang Huan always seemed to have time.

"I'll be back tonight," Jiang Huan said softly. He had felt guilty for not being able to spend time with Xiao Ying, but who would have thought she was even busier than him?

They simply don't have time to pay attention to themselves.

"Then you should get some rest today." Tao Ying handed Jiang Huan a key to the house.

"I'll be your driver." Jiang Huan couldn't bear to part with Tao Ying.

"No need, we're going out to discuss business. Your overall demeanor is a bit intimidating, it's not convenient," Tao Ying said softly.

"I won't say anything, or I won't get off the bus," Jiang Huan said, still unwilling to give up.

"Be good, wait for me at home. If it's too late, go back to the army. Once I'm done here, I'll come with you to join the army." Tao Ying placed her finger in front of Jiang Huan's incessantly chattering mouth.

"You're going to join the army?" Jiang Huan looked at Tao Ying in shock; this was something Jiang Huan never dared to even imagine.

“Yes, otherwise what’s the point of keeping your family compound there? Isn’t it for me to live in?” Tao Ying asked softly.

"Of course it's for you to stay in, Xiaoying, you're so kind." Jiang Huan was immediately happy.

"Sister Tao." Jiang Jiang called out from outside, mainly because she had seen Jiang Huan's car and didn't want to come in directly, for fear of seeing something she shouldn't.

"Jiang Jiang, take good care of Tao Ying. When you're having business dinners, just eat and drink as little as possible. If anyone tries anything funny, don't hold back," Jiang Huan whispered to Jiang Jiang as he went out with Tao Ying.

"Don't worry, Third Brother," Jiang Jiang replied, somewhat confused.

Jiang Jiang learned that her mother had called and scolded her third brother for half an hour in the morning. She also knew that her third brother had gone back last night. She thought she would have to pester Sister Tao today.

How did Sister Tao manage to fool people so much?

"Let's go, Jiang Jiang." Tao Ying was afraid that Jiang Huan would change his mind again, so she pulled Jiang Jiang out.

"How did you manage to fool me? My mom said this morning that my brother left with his head down." Jiang Jiang looked at Tao Ying curiously after getting into the car.

“I told your brother that we’re going out to discuss business, and once the business is stable, I’ll go and join the army.” Tao Ying was also quite troubled.

You wanted something more intense, but the other person just wanted a pure love relationship. What can you do? You can't fight back.

"You're going to join the army?" Jiang Jiang exclaimed in surprise. How could this be so unbelievable?

Putting aside whether Sister Tao is reluctant to leave her family or her company, she probably wouldn't be able to get by with life in the military camp either.

"I didn't say when I was going or how many days I'd be gone. Don't let it slip. Your third brother is too clingy." Tao Ying leaned back in her chair, a headache in her eyes.

"Are you regretting it?" Jiang Jiang looked at Tao Ying with some concern.

Mom thought Tao Jie was doing it because she couldn't resist Third Brother's persistent pleading, but Jiang Jiang actually thought that Tao Jie was doing it to repay Third Brother's kindness.

If it weren't for Third Brother, Sister Tao would probably be gone by now.

“How could I regret it? I’m just afraid that if I stay with your third brother any longer, I’ll be too wild and scare him. How come your third brother is still so innocent after living for so many years?” Tao Ying didn’t understand.

I think Jiang Huan's romantic obsession is even stronger than Jiang Jiang's.

"Where are you two at now?" Jiang Jiang asked, very curious.

"It was just one last step. He left with a nosebleed last night." Tao Ying felt exhausted.

Jiang Jiang "..."

"Is he alright? Is it possible that all men are like this? Tang Xiao was like that back then too, and I was the one who ended up fighting back." Jiang Jiang couldn't help but complain.

"Your third brother hasn't had a girlfriend all these years?" Tao Ying really couldn't understand it.
