"Aren't you going home?" Wang Chuntao asked.
“Baby, I have no home. My dad passed away ten years ago, and my mom remarried two years ago. I only have my grandpa, my uncle, and my aunt at home. They don’t want me to study this; they just want me to earn money to support the family,” Bai Shu said pitifully.
“Then don’t go back. I’ll take care of you.” Wang Chuntao touched Bai Shu’s cheek.
This kid is really good-looking; Wang Chuntao is so fond of him that she can't put him down.
"Thank you, baby!" Bai Shu said, blinking her beautiful peach blossom eyes.
The two were living a good life. Half a month later, Tao Ying went downstairs in the community and waited for an elderly man of about seventy years old, accompanied by a wealthy woman of about fifty years old.
"Ms. Wang Chuntao, may we talk?" The wealthy woman glanced at Wang Chuntao and said haughtily.
"Grandpa Bai Shu, Aunt?" Wang Chuntao didn't care about that disdainful look.
A well-mannered and cultured lady would not look at others like that.
"It's good that you know us. You're not young anymore. There's no way you and Bai Shu can be together. You'll be pitiful when your youth fades in a few years." The wealthy woman raised her eyebrows and looked at Wang Chuntao with disdain.
"Madam, don't you investigate other people's conditions before you come to them? Tell me, how much do you want to sell Bai Shu to me?" Wang Chuntao crossed her arms and looked at the two of them arrogantly.
"You, you, do you know who we are?" Grandpa Bai Shu was trembling with anger.
"They're just the Bai family from the capital, what's so great about them? I'm giving you face, so you should bid. Otherwise, what are you people for? Bai Shu is already twenty, and you're not even his parents yet. What are you putting on airs for?" Wang Chuntao looked at the two impatiently.
