Chapter 175: Wang Chuntao's Story (End)

"Who are you?" Wang Chuntao walked in, saw the three of them, and asked without any concern.

"You silly child, we are Bai Shu's family. We met just a couple of days ago." Bai Shu's aunt smiled awkwardly at Wang Chuntao.

"You came looking for Chun Tao?" Bai Shu looked at the three of them, her eyes filled with anger.

"Hmm, and you even want this old woman to leave you." Wang Chuntao sat down next to Tao Ying.

"This is a misunderstanding. We're here today to discuss your marriage," Old Master Bai said with a smile.

"Who said we were going to get married?" Wang Chuntao said with a slight smirk, her expression full of disdain.

"Not getting married?" Old Master Bai was stunned.

"Our transaction is a monetary one; I have absolutely no connection with the Bai family," Bai Shu said, looking at the three of them.

Although the Bai family did not mistreat him, they did not show him much affection.

Bai Shu did not want to sacrifice herself for any so-called family interest.

Bai Shu only wanted to live her own life because she had witnessed too much suffering in her mother.

That place was not home, but a prison.

"You...you don't want to go home anymore?" Old Master Bai was trembling with anger.

“I can change my mother’s surname,” Bai Shu said, looking at Old Master Bai.

Bai Shu didn't want to follow in her parents' footsteps.

The parents did not love each other; they were only united for the sake of family ties.

Then they torment each other and resent each other.

"In that case, please, the three of you." Tao Ying looked at the three of them with a serious expression.

The three members of the Bai family left with embarrassed expressions.

The nanny went out to see someone off.

Tao Ying looked at the two of them with a serious expression and said, "Tell me about it."

"No, there's nothing to say. I just like that he's young, good-looking, and has a good physique," Wang Chuntao said, sitting up straight and trying to appear calm.

"Yes, not bad, she's quite good-looking. You have good taste," Tao Ying nodded, expressing her approval.

Bai Shu “…”

"Hello, Auntie, I'm Bai Shu." Bai Shu greeted Tao Ying politely.

"Sit down. We're quite democratic in our family; everything depends on Chun Tao's wishes," Tao Ying said with a smile.

"Grandma!" A clear voice came from outside.

"Mom!" Then another sweet voice rang out.

Then a lively little boy ran in.

The little boy jumped straight into Tao Ying's arms.

Then a delicate and adorable little girl walked in, her eyes filled with a hint of helplessness as she looked at the little boy.

"Mom!" Yang Lin walked in from outside.

Now that the two children are in first grade, Yang Lin has been picking them up and dropping them off all these years.

Sometimes people mistake the two children for twins.

"Chun Tao is home too?" Yang Lin was a little surprised to see Wang Chun Tao.

My sister-in-law is a complete workaholic.

Every day I'm either at work or on my way to work.

They are not easily seen.

"Brother-in-law." Wang Chuntao greeted him with a word of concern, then shifted her gaze to Bai Shu.

My brother-in-law is getting uglier as he gets older.

I need to watch Bai Shu to cleanse my eyes.

When Bai Shu saw Wang Chuntao looking at her, she assumed he wanted her to greet him, so she immediately stood up awkwardly. "Brother-in-law!"

The cheerful shout startled Yang Lin, who had just entered when he saw Bai Shu.

I thought they were relatives of the Jiang family.

"This is Chun Tao's boyfriend," Tao Ying kindly explained to Yang Lin.

"Hello, hello." Yang Lin stared at Bai Shu in disbelief.

There's reason to suspect that the sister-in-law thinks she's too ugly, which is why she chose such a handsome boy.

After a while, Wang Chunni returned and her eyes lit up when she saw Bai Shu. "You're home?"

"Wife..." Yang Lin called out helplessly when he saw that Wang Chunni's eyes were glued to Bai Shu's face.

"This isn't quite good-looking yet," Wang Chunni whispered to Yang Lin.

Yang Lin: "..." This is indeed the truth.

The two stayed for a meal.

After the meal, Wang Chuntao left with Bai Shu.

"Thank you, baby." Bai Shu said, bowing her head as she got into the car.

"Why are you saying thank you? You must always stay this beautiful and have such a great figure," Wang Chuntao said casually.

"Okay!" Bai Shu replied softly.

"You know?" Tao Ying asked Wang Chunni after Wang Chuntao and the other woman left.

“Yes, I saw it when I went to Chun Tao’s place a few months ago.” Wang Chunni nodded.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Tao Ying asked, somewhat surprised.

"Mom, keeping track of the accounts is so painful." Wang Chunni looked at Tao Ying with a bitter face.

Tao Ying couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Alright, I won't let you keep track of the accounts anymore."

"Mom, you're the best," Wang Chunni said, clinging to Tao Ying's arm affectionately.

Tao Ying did not disturb Wang Chuntao and Bai Shu.

Tao Ying believed that Wang Chuntao could handle everything.

There's really nothing to worry about; at worst, you might get scammed out of money or sexually assaulted.

Chuntao didn't care about sex, and as for money, she wasn't afraid of being cheated.

The company checks the status every month, so there's not much to worry about.

Wang Chuntao and Bai Shu got along fairly well.

With Wang Chuntao's support, Bai Shu devoted herself wholeheartedly to training.

Finally, he participated in competitions and established a certain status in the sports world.

Her own excellence, coupled with her outstanding appearance.

Many people pursued Bai Shu, and there were even talent scouts who wanted to scour her to become a star.

However, Bai Shu rejected all of them and chose to become a coach.

Bai Shu's happiest moment each day is going home, cooking a meal, and waiting for Wang Chuntao.

Or he would carry a lunchbox to deliver food to Wang Chuntao.

That day, while carrying a lunchbox to find Wang Chuntao, I suddenly noticed a clean-looking young man who looked to be in his early twenties hanging around her.

A sudden jolt of panic shot through his head, replaced by a strong sense of crisis.

However, Bai Shu did not leave. Instead, she tidied herself up, stood tall, and strode over.

"Baby!" Bai Shu deliberately lowered her voice and called out with a hint of bubblyness.

Wang Chuntao is at it again…

"Sister Tao, who is this?" Li Yang turned to look at Bai Shu with a bright smile on his lips.

"Bai Shu, Wang Chuntao's boyfriend." Before Wang Chuntao could speak, Bai Shu extended his hand, looking at Li Yang in a very gentlemanly manner.

"Li Yang!" Li Yang smiled and shook hands.

"He came to see his older sister," Wang Chuntao explained helplessly.

If this isn't explained clearly, I might not be able to sleep tonight.

I don't know why Bai Shu still has such good stamina, even though she's already twenty-six.

"We can talk another time." Bai Shu affectionately put her arm around Wang Chuntao's waist and left.

"Can you please stop being so jealous?" Wang Chuntao said helplessly.

"I call this having a sense of crisis." Bai Shu was genuinely scared.

Fearing that Wang Chuntao would abandon him, Bai Shu became even more dependent on Wang Chuntao over the past six years.

"Don't worry," Wang Chuntao gently reassured Bai Shu.

Wang Chuntao didn't have that much time to coax other men; she had long since gotten used to Bai Shu's presence.
