Chapter 179 Wang Baoshan's Story 4

It has been a month since Wang Baoshan was in a car accident. His ribs have almost healed, the cast has been removed, and he is basically able to take care of himself.

Tao Ying arrived at the door and rang the doorbell.

Wang Baoshan is teaching Sun Ying.

Sun Ying dropped out of junior high school to work and earn money. It wasn't that Sun Ying was bad at studying, but that his parents didn't want to pay for it.

Sun Ying still loves learning, but she didn't have the opportunity before. When she was working, the work was heavy and she was often harassed by people.

Later, he was discovered by a talent scout. Although he no longer had to do physical labor, his work became even more arduous.

This past month under Wang Baoshan's care has been the most relaxed month of Sun Ying's life.

Even physical pain cannot overshadow psychological pleasure.

Furthermore, Wang Baoshan is very cultured, fluent in three languages, skilled in drawing, and knows many things that Sun Ying doesn't understand.

They wouldn't look down on Sun Ying either, so for a month, Sun Ying looked at Wang Baoshan with eyes full of admiration.

Wang Baoshan also greatly appreciated Sun Ying's admiration.

Aside from work, I spend all my time teaching Sun Ying English.

Upon hearing the knock, Wang Baoshan got up to open the door.

In the past month, no one has come over except for the nanny.

However, the nanny only comes over during mealtimes to cook and clean.

Tao Ying arrived at 2 PM, not long after the nanny left.

When Wang Baoshan opened the door and saw Tao Ying's smiling face, his smile instantly froze.

"Mom, what brings you here?" Wang Baoshan had a bad feeling.

"Isn't he still Mom's good son now?" Tao Ying raised an eyebrow.

"Mom~" Wang Baoshan called out helplessly.

"I just came to check on my sick son, how could you stop me from seeing him? How are we supposed to get along now?" Tao Ying joked.

"Mom~" Wang Baoshan broke down.

Tao Ying entered the room, and Sun Ying slowly walked out. She was a little embarrassed when she saw Tao Ying, but she still greeted her generously, "Hello, President Tao."

"What were you two discussing? Why are you calling him President Tao?" Tao Ying turned to look at Wang Baoshan.

"We agreed to go anywhere together. She's quite professional, and when she acts as me, she's about 80% convincing in front of strangers," Wang Baoshan said, touching his nose somewhat guiltily.

Tao Ying "..."

"Where's your sister?" Tao Ying asked.

"Mom~" Wang Baoshan called out, but wasn't that a rhetorical question?

"How's your injury? Does it still hurt?" Tao Ying stopped looking at Wang Baoshan and instead looked at Sun Ying with a big smile on her face.

"Mom, you've never been this kind to me before," Wang Baoshan said, displeased.

"I'm just talking to my youngest son," Tao Ying continued to smile at Sun Ying.

"It doesn't hurt anymore, and I can live a normal life now. I'm so sorry for the trouble these past few days," Sun Ying quickly replied.

“Look, look, when has my youngest son ever been so well-behaved? He’s over thirty years old and he’s still competing for attention with his niece, nephew, and sister,” Tao Ying said, shaking her head.

"Mom, can you please stop talking nonsense?" Wang Baoshan said in a low voice.

"You yelled at me?" Tao Ying looked at Wang Baoshan in disbelief.

"Mom? Where did I yell at you? I was speaking in a low voice!" Wang Baoshan wouldn't dare yell at Tao Ying; he wouldn't even dare to raise his voice normally.

“But you roared in your heart,” Tao Ying said firmly.

Wang Baoshan “…”

Sun Ying tried her best to suppress her laughter, but finally couldn't hold back and turned her head to the other side.

"Sun Ying!" Wang Baoshan shouted angrily.

This little girl has gotten bold; she actually dared to laugh at me.

"What are you yelling about? You scared me!" Tao Ying saw Sun Ying flinch in fright and couldn't help but pat Wang Baoshan.

Wang Baoshan knows his own son well; he's not the warm-hearted type.

This child is extremely selfish and rarely does anything purely for the good of others.

The fact that Baoshan is treating Sun Ying so well now proves that he truly cares about her.

It may not be that level of liking yet, but it's already quite an achievement.

"I've spoken to your Uncle Jiang about your problem. He'll go find Master Hui'en and see if he can help you switch back," Tao Ying said, looking at the two of them.

"Mom! Why didn't you tell me about your connections sooner?" Wang Baoshan broke down again.

“What are you shouting for? Master Hui’en is over 110 years old. He doesn’t allow us to visit him.” Tao Ying absolutely refused to admit that she hadn’t thought of it before.

“My health wasn’t fully recovered before, so it wouldn’t be convenient for me to go,” Sun Ying explained.

“Xiaoying, don’t be so careful. Our family is a normal family, and the mother-son relationship is a normal mother-son relationship. I am still my mother’s most beloved youngest son,” Wang Baoshan explained.

Sun Ying “…”

"Alright, you two get along well. I'll call you when there's a result." Tao Ying's face was full of smiles.

Jiang Huan's side responded quickly as well; Master Hui'en agreed to take a look at the two of them.

Jiang Huan drove Tao Ying to pick them up.

As Wang Baoshan helped Sun Ying downstairs, he noticed a flash of light in the distance.

"What's wrong?" Sun Ying asked softly when she saw that Wang Baoshan had stopped.

"It's alright, let's go." Wang Baoshan didn't tell Sun Ying.

We arrived at the small courtyard where Master Hui'en lived.

More than a decade has passed since I last saw Master Hui'en, and he still looks the same, with white eyebrows and beard.

He still has that kind and gentle face.

"Amitabha Buddha, it's been many years, but you remain unchanged." Master Hui'en chanted a Buddhist prayer upon seeing Tao Ying.
