Chapter Forty-Eight: Being Stripped

It was obvious that she was in a car, and she could feel other people around her. She couldn't help but sigh, wondering why these people had tied her up.

"Are you out of your mind? Why are you covering up that old lady? Is she going to work in a mine or be sold to someone as a wife? Go ahead and buy her!" Zhang Fang said angrily from the passenger seat.

"I thought she was someone you two kidnapped and was trying to escape. Her legs don't look like those of a middle-aged woman at all. What are we going to do? Should we just throw her off halfway?" a male voice said with a grin.

"Biaozi, do you think the police can't catch us, so you're planning to send the soldiers to arrest us? That old lady's son has an official rank." Zhang Fang cursed angrily.

"Then what do you suggest we do? We've already kidnapped him, how are we supposed to send him back? With your temper, you're still complaining that Brother Yong doesn't want to team up with you. I'm the only one who doesn't mind." Biaozi said, reaching out to touch Zhang Fang's thigh.

"You better behave yourself. Do you think you can touch me? If you don't want these claws anymore, I can chop them off for you." Zhang Fang shrieked, slapping Biaozi's large hand in disgust.

"What are you pretending to be, a virtuous and chaste woman? Weren't you the one who was making such a lewd noise before?" Biaozi grabbed his hand hard.

"Biaozi!" Zhang Fang felt deeply insulted.

This wasn't Zhang Fang's choice; she was kidnapped by these people. To avoid being sold to the mountains, she chose to become a demon.

But Zhang Fang has no regrets. Now she is glamorous and lives a wealthy life that ordinary women can only dream of.

"What are you yelling for? You'll yell as loudly as you can when it gets tonight." Biaozi's voice was filled with a lewd laugh.

Zhang Fang was furious and stared straight ahead.

Tao Ying listened to the two talking, her head still spinning, and she could hear soft sobbing beside her.

I could hear more than four breaths in the carriage. After a while, my dizziness subsided, and I could feel the light filtering through the gaps in the not-quite-sealed windows.

She saw that there were six women in the carriage, including herself, but the young man from the train was not among them.

Judging from the conversation between the two men, the man was going to be sold to the mine.

So, are women going to be sold to the mountains?

I don't know how long we drove, but I was starving.

Everyone's hands and feet were still bound with ropes.

The knot wasn't an ordinary knot; it was the kind used to tie up livestock.

In a daze, Tao Ying fell asleep again. When she woke up again, the car had just stopped.

Then the car door was opened, and it was pitch black outside.

"Get out and relieve yourself. If anyone dares to piss in the car, don't blame me for being ruthless." Biaozi swung his fist and slammed it hard on the car door.

The people inside were trembling with fear.

Zhang Fang loosened everyone's feet.

"How do I take off my pants?" Tao Ying asked Zhang Fang.

“You can help each other out. If you’re not willing, you can ask Biaozi for help. I think he’s definitely capable.” Zhang Fang glanced at the few trembling young women and a cheerful smile appeared on her lips.

It's truly gratifying to see these people living the same kind of life I once did.

With so many people across the country, why should I be the only one who doesn't have a good life?

"But you have to make this clear, I'm not going to take off that old lady's clothes, I'm afraid I'll get taken advantage of." Biaozi leered at the women from the side.

If it weren't for the fact that the originals were valuable, Biaozi would have insisted on inspecting each one.

Enjoy the treatment of an emperor.

Zhang Fang led a few people to the restroom, while Biaozi waited leaning against the car.

When the group returned from the restroom, Biaozi gave each of them a biscuit and a sip of water.

Then he took out a bottle of baijiu (Chinese liquor), sat down, and started drinking while eating roast chicken.

Zhang Fang sat far away from Biaozi, her eyes filled with wariness.

After Biaozi had drunk about half a bottle of wine, he staggered towards Zhang Fang. "Fang'er, wanna have a fling?"

"Biaozi, if you're not afraid I'll cut off your manhood, then come on." Zhang Fang's voice carried a hint of ferocity.

"Tch, she thinks she's some kind of virtuous and chaste woman, but she's just a cheap slut who's been played with and ruined by others." Biaozi's expression was very unpleasant.

He staggered to the trunk door, grabbed a tattered blanket, spread it on the floor, and fell asleep immediately.

Zhang Fang sat in the passenger seat and fell asleep leaning against the door.

After about three or four hours, noticing that neither of them had moved, Tao Ying slowly sat up and moved closer to a well-dressed girl who looked about seventeen or eighteen years old.

Based on my observation over this long period of time, this little girl is the most composed.

She didn't cry at all from beginning to end, and did whatever she was asked to do. In particular, she watched very attentively when Biaozi and Zhang Fang were untying the ropes.

After Tao Ying moved over, she reached out to try to untie the little girl's rope.

The little girl immediately realized what was happening, grasped Tao Ying's hand, and quickly untied the knot for Tao Ying.

Then Tao Ying immediately untied their hands and feet.

"No one should make a sound. We must save ourselves," Tao Ying whispered to the group.

I'm afraid that someone with a fuzzy head might wake them up again.

"The car door won't open, and as soon as it does, the man wakes up. We can't beat him," the little girl, Xia Ke, whispered.

"The car keys are in that man's pocket. We have to grab them, otherwise we'll never get out of these mountains," Tao Ying whispered.

If you run along the road, you'll be caught in less than half a day.

If you don't run along the road, you'll most likely get lost, and you won't even know how you died.

"Auntie, can you drive?" Xia Ke asked softly.

"I know a little bit. My son works in the driving team, and I've heard him talk about it. It shouldn't be a problem." Tao Ying got her C1 driver's license back then. Although she has mostly driven automatic cars since then, she has seven or eight years of driving experience and thinks it shouldn't be a problem.

Xia Ke… This sounds a bit unreliable.

But whatever, Xia Ke would rather die than be sold.

There was nothing in the back of the car except for a few people's belongings.

All their valuables and food were taken away, leaving them with only some junk.

However, Tao Ying's stool was still inside, and the chili powder hadn't been taken away either.

“Everyone grab a handful of chili powder. I’ll smash the window in a bit. If anyone comes over, just sprinkle it in their eyes or scratch them. If the car door doesn’t open, the skinny one will get out through the window,” Tao Ying whispered.

"Okay." The group seemed to have found their leader, and no one had any other opinions.

Tao Ying gently tapped the stool with her hand, then thought for a moment, took out a piece of clothing from her bag, wrapped it around the stool, and slammed it down hard, producing a crisp sound.

"Biaozi!" Zhang Fang woke up instantly and shouted loudly, but she didn't get down.

"What are you doing, being so reckless!" Biaozi muttered, then stood up groggily, rubbing his eyes as he walked to the side of the car.
