Chapter 613: Being Driven Out by a Man

Chapter 613: Being Driven Out by a Man

Xue Guixiang could never forget his kindness.

She has been waiting for him for almost twenty years for his kindness.

What does it matter if we guard it for another twenty years?

Seeing that no matter what she said, she couldn't connect with her elder sister, Xue Guiqin picked up the teacup and took a few sips in silence.

Xue Guixiang also felt that there was nothing much to talk about with this sister, so she said, "I will return to the county town early tomorrow morning. If you can't get used to living in the countryside, come and stay in the county town for a few days."

Xue Guiqin raised her eyes and said, "Okay, I'll stay at my sister-in-law's house tonight, and then go back to the county town with you tomorrow morning."

"Okay..."

After saying this, the two sisters seemed to have nothing more to say, so Xue Guiqin lifted her butt and patted the dirt off her body, "Then I'll go to my sister-in-law's house first."

"How about I give you a ride on my bike?"

"No need, I can go by myself."

Xue Guiqin twisted her hips and walked slowly towards Sun Junqiao's house. She had nothing to do anyway, so she just had to get there before dark.

Qiao Jingzhen looked at her back and said meaningfully, "You haven't been back for so many years. You came back out of nowhere. You must have been kicked out by your man."

Xue Guixiang was shocked. How could that be? The girl looked well-dressed and well-equipped. She didn't look like she had been driven out by a man.

When Xue Guiqin arrived at Sun Junqiao's house, it was already dark.

Sun Junqiao went to work in the fields. Xue Dong was on sick leave and had not yet returned to work, so he was cooking in the kitchen at the moment.

After Xue Rong and Xue Nan finished their homework, they obediently helped their elder brother to light the fire.

There were no scars on Xue Dong's face, but there was a burn on his arm, which was quite shocking.

But as long as you don't wear short-sleeved clothes, it can be covered.

When Xue Guiqin arrived, Sun Junqiao had just returned from the fields.

Seeing that Sun Junqiao was as thin as a hemp straw and had a pair of pitifully thin compass-shaped legs, Xue Guiqin couldn't help but look down on him.

Her brother was quite handsome back then, so how come he married such an ugly woman?

Fortunately, her three nephews and nieces do not follow her.

Sun Junqiao ignored her.

She hasn't been back for more than ten years. She has nephews and nieces at home, and she has the nerve to come back empty-handed and eat for free.

It would be fine if Xue Guiqin's family was not living a good life, as she was his sister-in-law, she was not an intolerant person.

But Xue Guiqin was obviously dressed so well and looked very well-off and wealthy, but she was not willing to give a penny to her family. Sun Junqiao looked down on her from the bottom of her heart.

In this way, the two people looked down on each other.

Xue Guiqin picked and chose, rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen. When she saw Xue Dong cooking a pot of cornmeal porridge, she immediately became unhappy.

She hasn't been home for many years, and when she came back her family gave her this to eat. Isn't it obvious that they don't value her?

Xue Dong said, "Second Aunt, there's nothing else to eat at home. We only have some cornmeal left. I made some porridge. You can make do with it."

Xue Dong said as he served himself some rice.

Xue Rong and Xue Nan served the food sensibly.

Two skinny girls were holding bowls that were bigger than their faces, afraid of getting burned.

Xue Guiqin didn't help serve the meal. She turned and walked out of the kitchen, sitting at the small table waiting for the meal to be served.

Sun Junqiao washed her hands and came over. Xue Dong had already served the meal. Each person had a bowl of corn porridge with a plate of pickled vegetables, a few steamed buns, and two boiled eggs in the middle.

Xue Guiqin felt sick when she saw the black, greasy layer on the table.

However, when she saw the boiled eggs, she thought they were cooked for her. She thought her sister-in-law had finally been sensible for once. Eating two boiled eggs without eating anything else would help her keep herself from getting hungry for a while.
