After frowning and thinking for a while, Chen Ningsheng took out his phone and quickly pressed the keys to make a call.
After speaking a few words in a low voice to the person on the other end of the phone, Chen Ningsheng hung up and stared intently at the direction of the van, his premonition growing increasingly strange.
Thinking of Gu Yan's phone call earlier, Chen Ningsheng forced himself to suppress the strange feeling in his heart and told the driver to speed up and drive towards the coffee shop.

"Chen Ningsheng, over here, over here." Gu Yan said in a low voice, slowly emerging from the bushes, as if afraid of being discovered. He tried to make as little noise as possible, both in his voice and movements.
Chen Ningsheng frowned, turned around and walked towards Gu Yan: "What exactly happened?"
Gu Yan just called him, saying out of the blue that Xu Xinchen had been kidnapped. He wouldn't tell him what happened, only telling him to call the police immediately. If Chen Ningsheng didn't know Gu Yan well and knew that he wouldn't joke about such things, he wouldn't have paid any attention to him at all.
Gu Yan's phone call had made him very anxious, and now that he was here, he just wanted to find out the truth as soon as possible.
"I came to this coffee shop to discuss some business..." Gu Yan began to recount the events from the beginning.

Chen Ningsheng put his hand on Gu Yan's shoulder and looked at Gu Yan with a look that said he was an idiot: "Who said I'm alone?"
Gu Yan felt the pain in his shoulder, and his teeth almost dug into his flesh. He was afraid that Chen Ningsheng was really out of his mind and would run in to his death alone. So even though his shoulder hurt a lot, he held Chen Ningsheng's hand tightly and refused to let go.
"The police haven't even come yet, so you're going in alone? Are you planning to send your driver, who looks like he's got a lot of bones, to his death with you?"
Although Gu Yan really disliked Chen Ningsheng and hoped that Chen Ningsheng would disappear as soon as possible, he also didn't want Chen Ningsheng to be harmed by this kind of social scum.
Even if they wanted Chen Ningsheng to disappear from their sight, they would first have to defeat him in the business world. Letting Chen Ningsheng into this coffee shop like this, who knows what these seemingly lawless scumbags would do to him?

After much deliberation, unable to find a good solution, Manager Li could only raise his head and look at Chen Ningsheng, trying to deny it. In any case, apart from that man, no one had seen that woman appear in the coffee shop. He would deny it to the death and see what those two men could do to him.
Having been in the business world for so long, what kind of people hadn't Chen Ningsheng seen? As soon as he saw Manager Li's expression, he immediately understood what he was thinking, and a look of disgust appeared on his face.
