As he spoke, Chen Ningsheng suppressed a laugh and turned his head to the side, leaving Xu Xinchen alone, glaring angrily at his profile: "No, you're definitely hiding something from me. Tell me the truth right now."
Chen Ningsheng's lips pressed together, forming a straight line. He didn't speak, looking preoccupied. He didn't know whether he should tell Xu Xinchen or not.
He felt that Xu Xinchen wouldn't be of much help even if he told her, but seeing her worried expression, he couldn't bear to say anything.
Xu Xinchen seemed to have figured out what Chen Ningsheng was thinking. She reached out and grabbed Chen Ningsheng's face, forcibly turning his face towards her: "Ningsheng, look at me, listen to me."
Xu Xinchen's expression was very serious: "You've always been helping me. Now that you're in trouble, although I can't help you much, I still want to hear you talk about it. It's really hard for me to see you keep bearing it all by yourself."

After receiving Chen Ningsheng's assurance, Xu Xinchen nodded solemnly, turned her eyes to look at the scenery outside the car, and prayed all the way home.
