Chen Ningsheng's eyes were full of disappointment. Before coming here, he had already considered that if Xu Yaxin was willing to admit her mistakes and sincerely apologize to Xu Xinchen, he could consider letting Xu Yaxin off the hook.
But he never expected that Xu Yaxin would still have such an attitude after arriving here. This was unacceptable to him. The bond they had formed growing up together had all been worn away.
With a heart full of indifference, Chen Ningsheng spoke in an icy tone: "Xu Yaxin, when you did this, did you even consider me? Did you even consider your father?"
Xu Yaxin raised her head fiercely and glared at Chen Ningsheng: "What do you want me to consider? Xu Xinchen had no idea that there was such a thing between Chen Ningsheng and Xu Yaxin. She also realized that Chen Bailing wasn't alone. She gritted her teeth in anger and couldn't help but reach out and pinch Chen Ningsheng's waist hard.

Xu Xinchen turned his head away angrily. He treated Xu Yaxin as a younger sister, but Xu Yaxin did not treat him as a brother. The two of them were not equal in their feelings from the very beginning!

Xu Yaxin gave a cold sneer: "For Chen Ningsheng's sake? Ha, Brother Ningsheng, I really want to ask you, since when did the bond between the two of us become less important than a woman you've only known for a short time!"
As Xu Yaxin spoke, she slowly walked towards Xu Xinchen and Chen Ningsheng, a sorrowful expression on her face: "We two grew up together. Back then, your family favored Chen Bailing. Considering that Chen Bailing's family background was better than mine, her appearance was better than mine, and she had known you for longer than me, I was willing to back down."
At this point, Xu Yaxin stopped in her tracks and glared fiercely at Xu Xinchen: "But what about her? What makes her so special? She's just a nobody who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She hasn't known you for even half as long as I have, and her family background isn't as good as mine. Besides her face, what else does she have to offer?"
Xu Yaxin really couldn't understand it. She had known Chen Ningsheng for so many years, and back then, there was Chen Bailing standing in the way of Chen Ningsheng. She knew that Chen Bailing's conditions were better than hers, so she was willing to give in.
But after Chen Bailing left, shouldn't it be her turn next, no matter what? But then, a strange woman suddenly appeared between them. How was Xu Yaxin supposed to handle this?

When Chen Ningsheng heard Xu Yaxin's question, his cold expression remained unchanged: "Xu Yaxin, I thought you should have known long ago that I have only ever treated you as a younger sister, and I have never had any other thoughts about you."
Regarding Xu Yaxin, Chen Ningsheng believed he had a clear conscience. He had never given Xu Yaxin any hints or done anything inappropriate. Even when Xu Yaxin's father jokingly mentioned that they should get married when they were young, he never agreed.
In his heart, his sister is his sister, and his future wife is his future wife. Even before Xu Xinchen appeared, he had already distinguished these things very well. Now that Xu Xinchen is by his side, it is even more impossible for him to confuse these relationships.
However, after listening to Chen Ningsheng's words, Xu Yaxin's face showed a sorrowful expression: "Brother Ningsheng, I have always known your thoughts, but can you also consider my feelings? Xu Xinchen was incredibly annoyed as she listened to Xu Yaxin's heartfelt explanation to her boyfriend. However, since she had already promised Chen Ningsheng that she would leave the matter to him, Xu Xinchen forced herself to suppress her annoyance and handed the decision over to Chen Ningsheng.
Although Xu Xinchen wanted to let Xu Yaxin go, Xu Yaxin was unwilling to let her go at all. After saying those words to Chen Ningsheng, without waiting for Chen Ningsheng's reply, she turned her head and aimed her guns at Xu Xinchen.
"Lu Minshi! Do you know how shameless you are! You appeared so much later than me, how dare you steal what's mine? Your family background isn't as good as mine, your abilities aren't as good as mine, and you even met me much later. What makes you think you're so special!"
Xu Xinchen felt a surge of anger and slammed her hand on the armrest of the chair next to her, about to yell at Xu Yaxin. But before Xu Xinchen could speak, Chen Ningsheng stepped in front of her.
"Xu Yaxin! You're not allowed to insult my girlfriend! The reason I like her is because she's so much better than you in every way. I don't need my girlfriend to have a good family background or be very capable. All I need is for my girlfriend to be compatible with me on a spiritual level! And it's precisely because you can't give me all of that that I can't like you!"
After hearing what Chen Ningsheng said, Xu Xinchen's anger disappeared. She turned her head and nodded at Chen Ningsheng with a satisfied look on her face, while reaching out her finger to hook Chen Ningsheng's fingertip.
Chen Ningsheng felt an itch in his palm and immediately looked down at Xu Xinchen, his eyes filled with deep confusion, as if asking Xu Xinchen what she was doing.
