The little guy quickly ran back to his room, grabbed his thick coat piled on the chair, and ran outside again.
"Mommy, Tuanzi is here."
Those short legs almost stepped on the floor-length coat, but thankfully they didn't fall.
Ye Wanying put her coat on her son, then scooped him up and held him in her arms before leaving the Ye family home.
In the car, the little guy was thrown into the back seat, curled up like a bear.
With her son in the car, Ye Wanying drove very slowly.
It took almost forty minutes to get there.
Outside the xx restaurant, a mother and son got out of the car:
"Mommy, is Daddy in here?"
Looking at his son's smug and arrogant demeanor, was he preparing to go to war or to collect protection money?
"Yes, this is the address they gave on the phone. As for your father, you can go in and ask the waitresses if they're still here."
The little guy was a bit reluctant, but then, thinking that he was going to teach his dad a lesson, he raised his head and went inside.
There was only one table of customers left in the restaurant at that moment; the other tables had all left.
Tuanzi was wrapped in a cotton-padded coat. When she arrived at the store, some of the staff noticed her and were quite surprised. Why would a child be here so late?
"Little friend, are you alone?"
At that time, everyone was more kind-hearted, unlike the coldness of human relationships that would become decades later.
Tuanzi hummed in agreement, then her gaze swept across the entire shop like a mountain king on patrol, finally settling on a table on the side where people were already drunk and staggering.
Hmph~
The little man hummed out loud.
The waiter who came over was about to ask the little guy why he was here so late when he heard that cold snort and was so startled that he stopped in his tracks!
What can I do if I don't know how?
The little guy didn't notice any of this and had already started walking towards that direction.
Ye Wanying entered a step later and saw this scene at the door. She looked helplessly at her son, who was rushing forward like a little firecracker, and smiled apologetically at the restaurant waiter, saying:
"Sorry, we came to pick up his father after receiving a call. He was a little angry because he heard that his father was drunk outside."
The waiter then realized that he hadn't offended the villain, but he still couldn't help himself.
"Oh? I see. Okay then."
I couldn't help but chuckle.
Isn't it so cute?
The other waiters had all heard Ye Wanying's introduction, and now they were all looking over there with curiosity.
The little guy was wrapped in a padded jacket, his face fierce, but his round body was quite unique, looking chubby and adorable no matter how you looked at it.
Not all of the people at the table were drunk.
Congzi and Huazi were lying on the table with their eyes open, each holding a cigarette. The phone call they had just made was from Huazi.
Gao Dan was leaning back in his chair, his eyes closed, and he kept rubbing his forehead with his hands. Drinking too much alcohol really does cause headaches.
The rest of the group either fell asleep immediately after drinking, or were groaning, probably because their stomachs were upset.
Just then, Hua Zi and Cong Zi were blowing smoke rings when a little radish-head suddenly appeared in front of them, making them tremble in fright.
Depend on!
"Hey kid, who are you?" Satoko asked.
Tuanzi frowned and carefully looked at Congzi in front of her, then walked past Congzi and Huazi directly to Gao Dan, who was still standing with his eyes closed.
Hua Zi and Cong Zi couldn't help but look over at the little figure as it moved.
The little guy's face showed utter disgust.
