Chapter 401 The Master of Making Trouble

Tuanzi hadn't seen his father for several days and missed Commander Gao terribly. He stopped eating snacks and playing with toys, looking every bit like a left-behind child, which made Ye Wanying's eyes twitch.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat?" I asked.

Normally, he would eat fruit salad with gusto, but now, with the fruit right in front of him, he actually managed to resist taking a single bite.

Could it be that he really misses his father too much?

Is it really that exaggerated?

Haven't I seen that man for several days? And I don't seem to have the urge to stop eating or drinking, do I?

The guy couldn't help but steal a glance at the fruit salad in front of him, and involuntarily swallowed.

"Hmm, I'm not eating anymore."

Pfft, do you have to be so insincere?

Ye Wanying naturally saw it and chuckled to herself. She deliberately said, "Fine, if you don't want to eat it, then I'll take it to Aunt Yang's two older brothers next door."

When Tuanzi heard that her delicious food was going to be given away by her mother, her heart ached, and she quickly reached out to protect the bowl in front of her.

"Mommy, this is mine."

"But didn't you say you didn't want to eat?"

"Hmm, I'll wait for Daddy to come back before I eat. Mommy, you keep it for him, don't secretly give it to others, okay?" He finished, and looked at his mother with a suspicious gaze.

A foodie who's possessive of her food...

Ye Wanying pinched her son's chubby cheeks: "Haha, son, how can you be so cute?"

They're absolutely adorable.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Tuanzi immediately grabbed her fruit salad and ran into the kitchen, hiding it before rushing back out.

Ye Wanying opened the door, where a soldier stood, holding the hand of a three- or four-year-old boy: "Ahem... Sister-in-law, this child is looking for you."

"Looking for me? Are you sure?"

I don't think I really recognize this doll. Could it be... the illegitimate child that my dear Commander Gao lost and is now coming to my door?

Thinking of this possibility, Ye Wanying shook her neck violently, and finally her questioning gaze fell on the doll in front of her. She squatted down, forced a strange smile, and asked:

"Hello, friend, can you tell me your name?"

Um...it shouldn't be Tuanzi's father's child, right?

Just look at Tuanzi; he looks at least half like his father. This little one, however, doesn't seem to resemble him at all.

Although the boy kept his head down, he would steal glances at Ye Wanying every now and then.

"My name is Xu Pianzhou, but my mom calls me Zhouzhou."

"So what's your mother's name?"

The little girl seemed conflicted, as if considering whether to tell the aunt in front of her. Ye Wanying didn't urge her, quietly waiting for the little girl to make a decision.

However, after Tuanzi, who had hidden the things, came out, she suddenly saw an unfamiliar older brother. Her short legs quickly ran to Ye Wanying and skillfully jumped into her mother's arms, looking at the older brother in front of her with wary eyes.

Hmph, who told this older brother to be cuter than many of the boys in the neighborhood?

A sense of crisis is cultivated.

Ye Wanying pulled her son out of her arms: "Tuanzi, be good, play by yourself, okay? Mommy has some things to do here."

Tuanzi's eyes immediately turned resentful. See, see, Mom really does like that older brother and doesn't love me anymore.

Her skill as a dramatic woman immediately came into play: "No, no, no, I don't want it!" As she spoke, she threw herself into Ye Wanying's arms again, clinging to her like an octopus.
