The entire group was invited to the police station. The three members of the Ye family plus a child naturally received special treatment, sitting in the reception room and drinking tea.
The other man and woman were interrogated separately, and the results came out quickly.
Just as I imagined, it was incredibly easy.
When pressed by the police, the man told them everything, while the woman dared not lie to the police.
The results were presented, and Ye Lao Er was the first to look at them:
"Holy crap, I knew it! Those two con artists!"
Ye Wanying had heard Ye Jiman say "Holy crap" far too many times tonight; those two words were constantly floating in her mind's eye.
"Second Uncle, if you dare say those two words again, I'll show you why the sun is so bright!"
cough.
Ye Lao Er coughed a few times. There were outsiders around. How could his niece do this?
However, because he was so impressed by his niece's fighting prowess, he dared not say or ask anything, and silently looked at the interrogation record. After that, he did not say those two words again.
To be honest, he just needs to be tortured!

"Were you woken up?"
The little guy nodded: "Mmm."
Just as his mother was threatening Grandpa Ye, the little one woke up. He was about to speak, but when he saw how frightened Grandpa Ye was by his mother, he swallowed his words for some reason and continued to watch silently.
But then his dad found out.
Sigh, I was hoping to quietly watch how Grandpa Ye would bring about his own demise.
Can I say that even a petty person like me is curious about why the sun is so bright?
However, every time Mom said this, her expression was terrifying, so much so that I never asked her about it.
The little guy had no intention of getting down and continued to snuggle in Gao Dan's arms.
Ye Jiman couldn't stand it any longer:
"Alright, alright, the results are all out. You guys handle it as you see fit. I'm leaving."
But they were stopped by the same police officer who had led the group earlier:
"Second Master Ye, according to the procedure, you still need to make a record."
Upon hearing this, Ye Jiman, who had completely lost her patience, exploded again:
"Isn't this obvious? Can't you see for yourselves? Don't waste my time. Do you know how valuable my time is? You lowly cops, can you afford to pay for this?"
The lead police officer was utterly stunned and helpless by Ye Jiman's actions.
"I'm sorry, Second Master Ye, we are just following the rules and procedures."
"Rules my ass, figure it out yourself. Those two are fraudsters, remember that!"
Ye Lao Er's words were essentially a accusation against the man and woman.
Scam!
Although they didn't manage to scam a single penny, they'll still have to stay in there for at least half a month.
How could we possibly let you off so easily after offending the dignified Second Master Ye?
