The old-style dormitory building is at least four meters high. There is no ladder, so you have to stack three long benches to get up there.
However, once someone steps on it, the pungent, sour feeling... makes their feet involuntarily tremble.
Another comrade could only hold the bottom bench between his feet, and then support himself with one hand on the second bench stacked on top, and the other hand on the third bench on top!
Even so, it's all in vain; at most, it can only offer a little psychological comfort!
Hao Gang climbed onto the second stool, on the verge of tears: "My buddy, hold on tight, we're almost at the top!" He really didn't want to fall!
But then I looked at myself, and then at my comrade's imposing weight of at least 200 pounds. Oh well, I'll just have to do it myself!
"Don't worry, don't worry, I'm absolutely steady. If you fall, I'll use these two hundred pounds of my flesh as a cushion for you!"
Hao Gang's legs trembled so badly they were shaking like leaves, and the long benches creaked and groaned. He didn't believe his comrade's words at all! Finally, he gritted his teeth and climbed up.
The creaking sound of the stool legs rubbing together rang out.
"Holy crap, buddy, didn't you say you were holding on tight? That scared the hell out of me!"
It was actually only a little over two meters high. For Hao Gang, jumping directly from the third floor wouldn't even make him frown. But... there were three stools stacked on top of each other, and they weren't secured. He had a million doubts about the safety!
Fortunately, after the stool wobbled a few times, Hao Gang managed to pry open the ceiling with his hands: "Flashlight!"
The guy below immediately handed over the flashlight: "Here you go!"
But then...
Because of the unstable center of gravity, the three stacked benches collapsed starting from the second one.
"Damn it!"
Hao Gang swore out a very vulgar curse, and quickly grabbed the edge of another fixed ceiling panel in the gap with both hands, looking as silly as a monkey hanging from a tree!
The guy below also widened his eyes, and after realizing what was happening, he quickly asked, "Brother Gang, are you alright?"
Hao Gang steadied himself and said, "It's alright!" Then he held the edge of the ceiling with one hand and shone a flashlight inside with the other.
Immediately, they saw a dark-colored cloth wrapped around something not far away and exclaimed in surprise, "There really is something!"
"What is that?" the brother below asked, puzzled.
"It's wrapped in cloth, I don't know what it is yet, let me take it down first!"
"OK!"
Because it was a bit far, Hao Gang put the flashlight in his mouth and stretched his hand inward with all his might. He finally managed to hook the thing over, grabbed it in an instant, and then put the pried-open ceiling back in place before jumping down!
"Damn it, I want to see what this thing hidden so high up is!" Hao Gang slowly unwrapped the cloth, and when the thing came into view, he was so shocked that he almost threw it away!
The comrade next to him took a deep breath: "This...this can't be the murder weapon, can it? There's blood on it, Gang-ge, look!"
But why was the murder weapon in the female soldiers' dormitory? And why was it hidden so well?
Could it be...?
No, no, I can't let my mind wander like that!
Hao Gang snapped to attention and quickly wrapped the things in a cloth: "Put the stool back in its place, let's go!"
Just as the two were preparing to leave, female soldiers were seen returning down the corridor!
This mission definitely cannot be known by too many people, otherwise, the commander would not have ordered all the female soldiers in the dormitory building to be cleared out beforehand!
The two glanced at each other, and then their gazes simultaneously turned to the balcony.
"Jump!"
Just as the two figures jumped off the balcony, the door to the girls' dormitory was opened, and several female soldiers walked in, startling the two who had just jumped from the fourth floor so much that they almost hit their heads on the ground!
