Bang! Bang! Bang!
Fireworks exploded, one, two, three...
The enormous sound of the explosion briefly made people forget the silence of the night sky.
The fireworks illuminated the smiling faces of the group, especially the little guy, whose rosy cheeks made him look incredibly festive and adorable.
My son, I hope you can soar like a dazzling firework, blooming into the most magnificent flower and radiating the most dazzling brilliance in your future life!
Ye Wanying held her son's small, soft hand tightly, the little boy completely unaware that his mother had gently kissed the top of his head.
"Mommy, Mommy~"
"What's wrong?"
The little boy smiled happily, his mouth splitting open to reveal a few baby teeth:
"Mommy, let's ask Daddy to set off fireworks too."
Pfft, you two usually can't stand each other, but now that you're having fun setting off fireworks, you remember to invite others to join in?
Ye Wanying certainly understood what this meant. Who could say that just because they didn't like each other on the surface, it really meant that their relationship was bad?
"Then you go and call them?"
The little man hesitated for a moment, then nodded:
"Okay, Mommy, I'm going now."
"Go ahead, it's getting dark, watch your step."
"Uh-huh."
Just then, the sparkler that the mother and son had set off together was finished, and the little boy ran off with a clatter. Ye Wanying shook her head as she watched, but her face couldn't hide her satisfaction.
Under the eaves of the main room, Gao Dan and Gu Ziling stood facing each other, each holding a lit cigarette.
"Big brother, have you noticed that one of the old man's men is missing?" Gu Ziling said.
Gao Dan hadn't actually inhaled much of the cigarette; most of it had burned out on its own. Hearing Gu Ziling's words, he flicked the ash off again.
"Never mind."
Since the old man's men have disappeared, it must be at his behest.
Since the old man hasn't mentioned anything yet, it's better for the younger generation to pretend they know nothing, right?
"Okay, then I'll ignore it."
Gu Ziling only mentioned it casually and didn't really intend to do anything. As a grandson, it was only natural for him to pay more attention to and care for his grandfather.
Just then, a little guy came running over, stood in front of his father, mouth agape, panting heavily:
"Bang, whoosh, fire, fire the fireworks."
Gao Dan didn't respond, but his gaze fell on the little man in front of him.
The little dumpling waited a moment, pouted, and then swiftly wrapped her two chubby paws around her father's leg:
"Daddy, daddy~"
While shouting, he kept shaking.
"Hey kid, your second uncle is right here, why don't you ask him to go set off fireworks?"
The little person turned their head and blinked:
"Second Uncle, are you...jealous?"
hiss.
Gu Ziling had a toothache, so she waved her hand.
The little boy let go of his father's chubby hands and slowly walked to Gu Ziling. Unexpectedly, his second uncle picked him up in an instant. However, it didn't hurt; in fact, it felt quite good.
"Remember, your second uncle only eats soy sauce, never vinegar."
Tsk tsk.
"But... when Second Uncle saw Aunt Xia's male colleague on the train... emmm..."
"Stop, shut up!"
Little one, you've really stepped on your second uncle's little tail.
How could Gu Ziling forget the man on the train who so attentively poured water for her woman? Ha, that bespectacled jerk...
Gu Ziling may not be aware of it yet, completely unaware of how sour her face is at this moment!
