The two little ones were sitting side by side on the steps, with snacks they had taken out of their backpacks between them. The little one was constantly recommending snacks to Xiao Jiu next to him:
"Brother Xiao Jiu, this is delicious. It's sweet and soft, and it tastes a little sour too."
Xiao Jiu couldn't hold them all with both hands. Watching her younger brother still enthusiastically promoting the product, she looked on with helpless affection.
"That's enough, little brother, I can't take it all," he said.
Hearing this, the little guy finally looked up and saw that Xiao Jiu's hands were full of things. He chuckled and scratched his head with his little paws.
"Uh, I forgot all about it." He muttered to himself.
All I was thinking about was giving all the good food to Xiao Jiu, and I didn't think about anything else for the time being.
"Then... what about the rest?"
When asked by the little man, Xiao Jiu quickly replied, "You pack it up, this is enough for me, you can eat the rest, little brother."
How could I really give all of it to my younger brother? That would be so inconsiderate.
Xiao Jiu is indeed a bit precocious. Other children his age might not think of these things. If there's food, wouldn't he hoard it all?
No wonder everyone feels sorry for such a sensible Xiao Jiu.
However, for a petty person, as long as they approve of someone, they will definitely treat that person very, very well.
Since they are young, the only way they can express their feelings is by sharing their favorite foods with others.
Therefore, Xiao Jiu's refusal was clearly something that Xiao Ren disagreed with.
"No, that won't do!" she said, refusing outright.
"ah?"
Suddenly, one of the dumplings became righteous and indignant:
"Brother Xiao Jiu, these are all from Tuanzi. Tuanzi has many more at home."
Um, for a moment, Xiao Jiu didn't know how to refuse.
"Well... we can't take them all, let's just put them at home first," she whispered.
Upon hearing this, the little man indeed smiled broadly and nodded emphatically:
"Okay!"
Then, the two children began to stuff all the things they had taken out back into their schoolbags. After they finished, they got up and ran into the house.
Just then, the three adults were getting ready to go shopping when the two little ones came running over.
Ling Jin beckoned to her youngest son:
"Xiao Jiu, stop running around, let's go shopping."
shop?
Xiao Jiu was very happy to hear this:
"Mom, are we going shopping? To buy something?" she asked.
What's the point of shopping if you don't buy anything?
Ling Jin hummed in agreement and said again:
"Go inside and change your clothes."
"Okay!"
Watching her youngest son dash into the house, Ling Jin smiled helplessly. Her youngest son was completely different from her eldest son when he was a child. Her eldest son had always been quiet since birth. How could he be so active?
However, what Ling Jin didn't know was that Ye Da Shao was already quite lively during those years. After his mother passed away when he was three years old, Ye Yue Chen began to follow the cold path of his biological father, until he finally felt better when he met his sister's family again more than twenty years later.
The little dumpling watched Xiao Jiu run inside and immediately wanted to follow, but was stopped by his mother:
"Brother Xiao Jiu, go inside and change your clothes. You just wait here."
However, the little person kept wriggling its small body:
"Mommy, let me go, I want to go inside."
Looking at her son, who was wriggling like a worm in her arms, Ye Wanying let go of him.
"Why do we have to go in?" I asked.
Once the little man was free and stood up straight, he answered:
"These are things Tuanzi brought for Xiao Jiu-gege." She said, shrugging the small backpack on her back.
