This powerful dream should have been impossible to achieve, but life is always full of surprises. Just as Ye Wanying was thinking of various ways to refuse that man from climbing into her bed, the guard rushed over.
"Sister-in-law, the regimental commander is in a meeting and will be leaving in an hour. Could you help me pack two sets of clothes to change into?"
Hearing this, the woman stood frozen at the doorway for a long while, her heart bursting with joy: Hahaha, that's wonderful, finally...
Seeing the unusually frightening smile on the regimental commander's sister-in-law's face, Wu Jin almost left, but couldn't help calling out again:
"sister in law?"
Ye Wanying then came to her senses and asked, "Ahem, Wu, where is your commander going? When is he coming back?"
She silently prayed that the jerk would stay away for a while, so that she wouldn't pounce on him and bite him to death if she couldn't figure things out.
This is really too much. For five whole years, I haven't left the house. My legs tremble as soon as I get out of bed. It's like this every day. How can I possibly go out?
Wu Jin didn't see the ulterior motive between the couple: "Don't worry, sister-in-law, the regimental commander is just going on a business trip to a brother unit. It's not a dangerous mission. He'll probably be back in about a week."
Ye Wanying nodded and chuckled, "Wu, wait a moment, I'll go get ready. Tuanzi, come out and greet the guests."
Then a tiny little boy walked from inside to the door and grabbed Wu Jin's hand, saying, "Uncle, come in and sit down!"
Wu Jin originally didn't want to use it, but the dumpling wouldn't let go.
Sitting on the sofa, I saw Tuanzi take an orange from the other table and say, "Uncle, have some."
Wu Jin was embarrassed: "Uncle doesn't want it, you can eat it yourself."
Tuanzi blinked, but still didn't pull her hand back. She actually said, "Then, Uncle, peel the millet, and Tuanzi will eat!"
Didn't your mom tell you to serve the guests? Why are you letting a guest peel an orange for you?
Ye Wanying packed two sets of clean clothes and a few pairs of clean underwear into her bag before she felt she was done. She picked up her bag and came out, and immediately saw Wu Zheng on the sofa patiently peeling oranges and feeding them to the person next to him.
The man rested his head on Wu's lap, crossed his legs, and looked incredibly relaxed.
Ye Wanying raised an eyebrow. This wasn't greeting a guest; it was clearly the guest greeting him!
When Wu Jin saw Ye Wanying come out, he moved the head off his lap onto the sofa before standing up and saying, "Sister-in-law."
"It's all here." Ye Wanying was still a little worried about what Nan Ran was going on his business trip for, but she also knew that in the army, you can't ask what you can't ask, and it would be pointless to ask anyway.
Wu Jin took the bag and left. Tuanzi lay on the sofa, looking at Ye Wanying with longing: "Mommy, isn't Daddy coming back?"
"Idiot, your dad just went out to work and will be back in a week." It's as if his father abandoned them and would never come back.
"I want to pull it out."
"You're already thinking about it before the person has even left?"
Tuanzi nodded her head emphatically: "I want to!" If Dad doesn't come back, I won't have any potato chips or spicy strips to eat. Sigh, I'm so sad.
So, it's not that I miss people, it's just that I miss potato chips and spicy strips.
Ye Wanying didn't believe her clever son's words. She stood up from the sofa and looked at the clock on the wall.
Well, it's just past noon. After lunch, I can go out and have some fun. Now no one can stop me, right?
