He placed the bag at the foot of the bed, took out his own bed sheet and spread it on the bed before letting the guy following behind him get on.
This action, however, earned him a disdainful look from the middle-aged woman who had entered first: "Pretentious! It's not like they don't have bed sheets."
Ye Wanying listened to the old woman's words, her expression changed slightly, but she didn't say anything more. Did she have to listen to her when she wanted to do what she wanted?
She continued to take out pillows and blankets from her bag, while Ye Wanying threw the ones she brought on the train onto the cabinet next to her.
Unexpectedly, that nosy old lady started again: "Oh, where's the rich lady? If you're so capable, then don't take the train! What are you pretending for?"
Ye Wanying was extremely annoyed. What business is it of yours what I want to do?
I held back, thinking of my precious son who was still alive.
Otherwise, if someone were so foul-mouthed, and even offended themselves, they would have slapped them twice already. Isn't this just being foul-mouthed? They can be taught a lesson!
Tuanzi looked at his mother with eyes that seemed to ask: Why is that old lady so annoying?
Ye Wanying patted her son's bottom: "Good boy, let me teach you a life lesson. When dogs bark, we should ignore them if we can. Otherwise, what if a vicious dog bites us? Are we supposed to bite back? Then we'll end up with a mouthful of fur!"
Tuanzi shook her head vigorously: "No way! 'Mao' (hairy) can't be eaten, it doesn't taste good!"
"Okay, then I won't eat it!"
The busybody seemed to understand the implication of those words, and her face turned bright red with anger. But since no one had named anyone, she couldn't very well assume it was directed at her.
Just then, another woman entered, accompanied by three children: two boys and a girl.
Tuanzi pouted in disdain upon seeing the children, then snuggled into Ye Wanying's arms and whispered in her ear:
"Mommy, those friends are all unhygienic and unclean. Tuanzi doesn't want to play with them."
Listening to her son's words, Ye Wanying glanced at the children out of the corner of her eye. No wonder her son was so disgusted; these kids must have worn the same clothes for a long time. She could clearly smell the unpleasant odor in the air.
Moreover, the clothes were almost entirely covered in dark marks, which had all scabbed over.
If I'm not mistaken, those crusts are probably snot, right?
The adults were only slightly better off, but their clothes were still very dirty, and their long hair, braided into two plaits, was so greasy that it could reflect light.
"Mom, I've bought the ticket."
Ye Wanying thought the woman had gone to the wrong place, but then she heard her call the old lady "Mom".
so........
"How many more were reissued?"
"One and a half!"
Immediately, an old woman's shrill voice rang out: "What? One and a half tickets? Jia Lihong, are you dead or what? Do you think three children need one and a half tickets?"
Jia Lihong should be this woman's name.
"Mom, the staff told us to pay the difference. All our kids are over one meter tall, so we have to buy half-price tickets."
Then the old woman jumped off the bed and started hitting Jia Lihong with the insoles she was holding.
"You just do whatever they tell you to do? If you listen to so much nonsense, is that person your old flame or your lover?"
Jia Lihong couldn't avoid it and endured several blows from the shoe insoles, tears streaming down her face: "Mom, how could you do this to me? How could I possibly do something to betray my child's father?"
