The little guy was really well-behaved and took the initiative to go to the table and get a glass of milk to drink.
It wasn't hot, and the little guy, like a little glutton, sipped it down little by little, and suddenly, his mouth was covered in white whiskers.
After finishing the drink, since Sister Xiaoju wouldn't let me into the kitchen, I could only leave the cup on the table and call out towards the kitchen:
"I've finished drinking. Tuanzi has finished her milk tea."
Actually, it was to notify someone to come out and collect the cups.
Just then, the old man opened his room door and came out, his face beaming with smiles.
"Hey, why are you up earlier than Great-Grandpa today, little darling?"
As soon as the little guy saw Grandpa Gu, he ran over and hugged the old man's leg:
"Great-grandfather, great-grandfather, Tuanzi wanted to see you so much that she stopped sleeping and came down to find you, but you're still sleeping, so Tuanzi is waiting outside."
Oh, really?
Isn't it because someone's tummy is hungry that they got up so early?
But the old man knew perfectly well that the little guy was just trying to coax him, and he understood why. After all, this little guy's tricks could only fool those who weren't smart enough for the time being, and couldn't fool a shrewd old man like the old man.
But the old man was happy and willing to do it.
And so, listening to the little guy's sweet, coaxing words, I couldn't help but burst into laughter:
"Okay, okay, great-grandpa's little kitty is the best, the most obedient. Do you want to go for a walk with great-grandpa?"
The old man has been restricted from practicing Tai Chi and other similar exercises. Now, he can only go out for a couple of walks around the courtyard early in the morning, then come back for breakfast, and after that, he goes out again to kill time with the other old folks.
The little dumpling didn't really want to go. After all, going out with great-grandfather wasn't fun at all. What fun could there be with a bunch of old men?
But then she thought that whenever the old men were happy, they would buy Tuanzi boxes and boxes of delicious food and fun toys. For these treats, the little one nodded in agreement:
"Yes, Great-Grandpa, Tuanzi is going for a walk with Great-Grandpa."
"good!"
An elderly man and a young child walked out of the Gu family home hand in hand, with the little boy even thoughtfully pretending to help the old man down the steps.
"Great-Grandpa, be careful, there are steps here."
"Grandpa is watching, sweetie, don't worry."
The scoundrel then said:
"It's a pity that Tuanzi is too small now. If she were a little older, she would be able to carry her great-grandfather up the steps."
These words were spoken suddenly by me; there was no deliberate intent behind them.
The old man was stunned for a moment, then his face became full of wrinkles:
"Okay, okay, when Tuanzi grows up, he'll carry Great-Grandpa on his back."
My great-grandson is so well-behaved and filial. He's just so pleasing to the eye. He's much more well-behaved and sensible than the children in other old folks' families.
All the way, until we arrived at the small garden in the compound, the wrinkles on the old man's face did not disappear; in fact, they seemed to increase.
So early in the morning, the small garden is full of elderly people around the age of Grandpa Gu exercising.
Everyone could see the undisguised smile on Old Master Gu's face from a distance. Someone, curious, asked:
"Old Gu, did you find some money this early in the morning?"
She was smiling like a blooming flower.
"I'd be happier than if I'd found money," the old man replied cheerfully.
In an instant, several old men gathered around. Clearly, they were all acquaintances, and the little boy expertly called out to them one by one:
