Su Youfu paused in his shout, looked over, and saw that the eyes were red and there were suspicious tears on the corpse's face.

Grandma Su made a ruckus, raising her hand to slap Su Youfu, but He Taohua, sobbing, stepped in front of her, saying, "Grandma, Youfu is already like this, how can you only side with your grandson and not your son, and even hit him? Lin Jiefang gestured for He Taohua to go outside to talk.
He Taohua pursed her lips and followed Lin Jiefang out of the ward. When they opened the door, Grandma Su was eavesdropping by pressing her ear against the door. Lin Jiefang smiled and walked straight out of the hospital building with He Taohua to a less crowded area.
“Jiefang, Su Youfu is paralyzed. He’ll probably be bedridden from now on. I don’t want to marry him,” He Taohua said.
