Chapter 27 Resolving Inner Confessions (Part 1)

"Yes, a tape recorder." She had checked the price; a small tape recorder could be bought for a little over a hundred yuan in the mall. In the days since the new store opened, she and her assistant had earned a good income, so they could afford it. However, she didn't dare to touch the money in her hand; she still wanted to save it for a rainy day.

"Mom, you're so good!" Hanhan stood on the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed), rushed over to her, and showered her with kisses. This child has a very high emotional intelligence; I wonder where she learned it from.

"Go to sleep, sweetie, go to sleep." Qin Xiaoyu didn't even open her eyes, but her mouth was stretched almost to her ears.

"Second Aunt, you're so kind, you love your younger brother and sister so much," Tang Xiuqin suddenly said.

"Don't all parents love their children the same way?" Qin Xiaoyu said casually. But then she thought about boarding school and realized what Tang Xiuqin was referring to.

“It’s different,” Tang Xiuqin said quietly.

"Xiuqin, don't blame your parents. This is all they can do to love you." Qin Xiaoyu was wide awake now, and she wanted to help this little girl resolve her inner conflict.
