Chapter 773 A Crazy Life

Qin Xiaoye wasn't one to tolerate things easily. She already understood that if she didn't fight back, her life was over.

At first, Qin Xiaoye had the upper hand and beat the man so badly that he couldn't fight back.

"Help!" the man yelled, straining his neck.

But soon someone came to break up the fight, but they were biased towards the other side, and others joined in. Qin Xiaoye wasn't well-liked to begin with, and being a mistress made her someone everyone wanted to kill, so why not take advantage of the situation?

When the boss came to separate them, Qin Xiaoye was already bruised and swollen; she had been beaten up by the group.

"Get out of here, we don't need you anymore!"

The boss fired her with a dark expression. She had worked hard for almost a month and only received one hundred yuan.

She suddenly remembered what Zhang Dahai had said and felt a little annoyed. Why didn't she bring the business card back? Maybe it was still a good candidate.

With this idea in mind, her thoughts began to stir. After resting at home for a few days and waiting for the bruises on her face to fade a bit, she mustered up the courage to call Zhang Dahai.

She had made up her mind that if Zhang Dahai dared to make fun of her, she would fight him to the death.

"I knew you'd call. Don't say old friends don't look out for you; I've thought of everything for you. You missed out last time, but here's another one. He's not as young as the other one, but he's generous with money."

To her surprise, Zhang Dahai readily gave her another call.

At the designated coffee shop, Qin Xiaoye met her next man.

The greasy middle-aged man couldn't take his eyes off her once he saw her. He looked her up and down several times, as if he could strip her clothes off with just his gaze.

She was restless and could only drink milk tea frantically, biting the pearls between her teeth until they burst open one by one.

“Miss Qin, I heard from Da Hai that you have a very nice personality. We can spend some time together and see how things go.”

Qin Xiaoye's face flushed red as if she had been slapped. Should she still try it out? How embarrassing.

"If Miss Qin doesn't want to, then forget it." The uncle waved for the waiter to come and settle the bill.

He paid the bill calmly, and seeing that Qin Xiaoye was still clenching her teeth, he smiled and said, "I've paid the bill. Is there anything else you need, Miss Qin? I'll order for you. If you don't need anything, I'll be leaving now."

That's a really good attitude; even if a deal falls through, goodwill remains.

Qin Xiaoye was having a fierce internal struggle. She saw his figure flash by at the top of the stairs and disappear. Only then did she realize that if she couldn't reach an agreement with this person, she would have to suffer another humiliation at Zhang Dahai's hands.

Her body stiffened, and without further hesitation, she grabbed her bag and chased after him.

Just as Director Feng opened the car door, Qin Xiaoye pressed his hand down on it.

He was a seasoned veteran and knew Qin Xiaoye would fall for his tricks, so he wasn't in a hurry. He gestured for her to get in the car and drove her straight to the hotel.

This was a landmark moment for Qin Xiaoye. She had cut off all her escape routes, using the excuses she could still find before.

She's no different from a prostitute. Calling her a mistress is giving her too much credit.

But what did it matter? The price he offered was irresistible: two years' worth of service, 30,000 yuan per year. He would also rent her an apartment, with rent and utilities all included.

Thinking of the hundred yuan she earned working herself to the bone as a waitress, Qin Xiaoye gritted her teeth and agreed.

This is Director Feng.

She made a mistake. Not all men are like Zhang Dahai; even if he's not the best, he's still young and knows how to have fun. But this Director Feng is a different story. He's middle-aged to begin with, and he doesn't know how to control himself; he's completely exhausted.

But he had this particular fondness for it, always resorting to drugs or bad ideas, going to great lengths to cause trouble. Sometimes Qin Xiaoye felt she couldn't take it anymore, but when dawn broke and he walked out of the house, Qin Xiaoye felt she could hold on a little longer; it was only two years.

Two years later, she will be free, she will have money, and she will have a new life. If she's lucky, she might even find new love.

Qin Xiaoye swallowed her anger and resigned herself to her fate.

She gave her father a thousand yuan to send him back to Northeast China. But he refused to leave, lingering at the door every day. Director Feng stopped him twice, and complained quite a bit.

Left with no other choice, she rented him a small room and managed to keep him afloat. Fortunately, he was content with a drink; having been taken advantage of by a woman last time, he was indifferent to even women.

Director Feng has a wife at home, and he often takes Qin Xiaoye with him when he goes on business trips.

This was something they had agreed upon at the time, and she had to endure it no matter what. But gradually, she discovered that this Director Feng was a bit perverted. He wasn't just keeping Qin Xiaoye as a mistress; he also had a fourth and a fifth mistress. Once, when he was drunk, he even called the fifth mistress over and insisted on sleeping with Qin Xiaoye.

This infuriated Qin Xiaoye, who threw a tantrum. Even at her most despicable, she had her limits; she couldn't bring herself to do something like this. This incident sobered up Director Feng, who, feeling humiliated, left with Xiao Wu. From then on, he became much more distant from her.

Qin Xiaoye's mind was made up: since you've already paid the money, there's no way you can get it back now. From then on, she was careful; whenever Director Feng came over, she would just cause a ruckus and make a scene, making sure he didn't get his way.

Director Feng would always cause an argument whenever he came, and she found it tiring, so he stopped contacting her for a while. They were even now, which was fine. Qin Xiaoyu knew it was impossible to get money from him again, so she had to find another source.

This time she learned her lesson and stopped giving the money to Xiao Ye's father. Instead, she bought a small shop and rented it out to collect rent, which was better than just sitting around and eating away her savings.

Xiao Ye's father is like a persistent ghost; he still comes to our door frequently.

"Just go back to the Northeast, cancel the fake documents, and after a few years you can still get a pension, right?" Qin Xiaoye was so annoyed with him. This was like a leech, applied while it was still hot. When you peel it off, it wouldn't just be a layer of skin; it would tear the flesh apart, leaving it bleeding!

“How dare I go back? Your uncles are just waiting for me to come back so they can fight me to the death. If I were to lose your mother’s life, I…” This is a trick that Xiao Ye’s father often uses now.

Whenever this topic is brought up, Qin Xiaoye loses all sense of propriety; the person died because of her, so she has to have a conscience.

A cold wind and rain fell; there was no warmth in this world. Two people, driven to desperation, started drinking, one glass after another, until they were drunk and didn't have to think about anything anymore.

Director Feng wasn't a rich fool with money to burn. He appeared generous on the surface, but deep down he was a calculating Southern man. Once his enthusiasm for Xiao Liu wore off, he remembered that he still had a woman he had paid money to get but hadn't had his fill of. Feeling resentful, he went to her door to cause trouble.

That day, Qin Xiaoye got half-drunk again. Director Feng knocked on the door for a long time before Xiaoye's father finally crawled out to open it for her.

He was drunk and didn't even see the person clearly before he started to fawn over them.

"Dahai's back? Have you eaten? I'll make you some hot soup, it's delicious, delicious!" He bumped into the door frame with a thud, tried to get up but couldn't move, and fell asleep with his head tilted to the side, snoring away.

Director Feng had met him before and knew he was Qin Xiaoye's father. When he heard him mention Zhang Dahai, he immediately understood that she had picked up Zhang Dahai's discarded goods.
