Yao Mei and her husband have decided to go and help Qin Xiaoyu. Moving the whole family south, with Qin Xiaoyu to help, is better than living apart. Their child is approaching puberty and needs his father.
With their jobs and housing situation fully resolved, Yao Mei and her husband were extremely grateful.
My cousin's wife complained, "I'm not even enough help, and you always bring people out of the house."
"Aren't you leaving too? You'll gradually hand things over to the younger generation. You and your eldest grandson are so far away, don't you miss it? That kid is so adorable, I can't get enough of him," Qin Xiaoyu comforted her.
"Yes, it's so beautiful. I haven't seen it in a while, I've been dreaming about it." My cousin-in-law was immediately excited when she heard Tang Fengqin's child mentioned, as this was her maternal grandmother.
After everything was arranged, Qin Xiaoyu was about to take Xiao Jiajia back to their room when Zhou Xing's mother took her away.
The couple had no choice but to turn around and go back into the house on their own.
"This departure will last for several months." Qin Xiaoyu suddenly felt a little reluctant.
"Come back if you miss it. I heard they're building an airport here soon."
"Really? That's great! Did Lu Di say that?" Qin Xiaoyu's biggest annoyance was not being able to go directly there, having to take a plane and then a train.
“Yes. He said the main reason is because of Riyue Clothing, which is why there was a discount. I guess you can consider this your contribution.” A Lei hugged Qin Xiaoyu from behind and whispered in her ear.
"It's so great that we don't have to transfer to the provincial capital anymore. It's so much more convenient to travel back and forth." Qin Xiaoyu's eyes crinkled with joy at the thought of being able to travel directly there. This is what it means to have a direct connection between the north and south.
They moved to the window, lifted the curtains, and looked out at the quiet courtyard.
The moonlight spread evenly, giving the fountain's boulder a silvery sheen. Qin Xiaoyu leaned back and gave a mischievous smile.
"Are you hiding something from me?" Aree sensed something was amiss.
"Our daughter may have already arrived," Qin Xiaoyu said with a smile.
"So fast? Isn't that a bit early?" A Lei frowned and scratched his head.
"What? You're still complaining?" Qin Xiaoyu glared at him.
"I think it's too close, I'm afraid you can't handle it, maybe..."
"What do you mean, 'or what'? You!" Qin Xiaoyu pinched his arm angrily.
"Really? Go back and have your brother-in-law check your pulse right away." A Lei suddenly let go of Qin Xiaoyu, made a joyful expression, and jumped up with a clenched fist.
“That’s more like it, otherwise my daughter would be disappointed. Her father doesn’t welcome her at all.” Qin Xiaoyu blinked.
“She doesn’t know. She’s still young.” A Lei grinned and leaned closer.
"I can tell her," Qin Xiaoyu said with a mischievous grin.
"How dare you!" A Lei was truly terrified and begged for mercy repeatedly.
On the return flight, Qin Xiaoyu secretly told Zhou Xing's mother about her pregnancy.
"This is great news! You're not so busy now, so you can take good care of yourself during your pregnancy and childbirth. Last pregnancy really took a toll on you, and I was so worried. This time, A-Lei is keeping a very close eye on you," Zhou Xing's mother said resentfully.
"What did you say?" Zhou Shiling was always sharp of hearing and sight.
"They said the fourth child in the Xiaoyu family is a girl, and that's right, she's a girl," Aunt Wang suddenly interjected, whether she heard it or figured it out.
With this experienced fortune teller speaking, A Lei felt more at ease. He had doubts when Qin Xiaoyu said it was a daughter; he was worried that it might be a boy instead.
Now that my little sister is growing up, she doesn't let me kiss her anymore, unlike before when we were all so affectionate. The arrival of this little princess has just filled that void.
Another thing is that this batch of babies are all boys, and the little princess has a bunch of older brothers. How happy is that?
Qin Xiaoyu counted the number of handsome young men; there were eight in total. She suddenly felt a pang of jealousy. What would it feel like to be pampered by a group of older brothers? Every girl probably wanted to experience it.
Coincidentally, when they got home, they heard another piece of good news: Su Ju was also pregnant.
Deng Jianyan's reputation as a fertility goddess was well-deserved; after taking the medicine for more than two months, Su Ju's belly swelled up as if inflated.
Xu Jingye was so happy that he felt like he had wings when he walked, and he was flying all the way.
Su Ju has taken leave from work and is being forced by Xu Jingye to rest and recuperate during her pregnancy.
"I feel more at ease with her at home. With her there, the nanny can take better care of the child." Ye Qiu had this selfish reason, so she was more supportive of Su Ju taking leave.
She had plenty of money and was afraid that Su Ju would be reluctant to buy nutritional supplements because of the expense, so she kept bringing them home. In the end, even Xu Jingye couldn't take it anymore and begged for mercy.
"Sister Ye, look how round my little Ju's face has become, stop feeding her."
"I'm just scared, I'm scared that your Xiaoju will have kittens like me." Ye Qiu rolled her eyes at him.
“This is all about genetics. My child with Xiaoju can’t be any thinner.”
Xu Jingye regretted saying that as soon as he finished speaking. Bringing it up reminded Ye Qiu of Master K. Ye Qiu was as skinny as a monkey, just like Master K.
This is really asking for a beating. No matter how close Ye Qiu and Master K are, they are still husband and wife. He quickly shut up and went to the side to reflect on his actions.
Ye Qiu's eyes reddened slightly, but she quickly recovered. She had already become immune to all poisons, so this was nothing to worry about.
Her child is growing up healthy, she has friends to keep her company every day, she's happy, and she doesn't lack money. What more could she ask for?
Another distinguished guest quietly returned to China, but went straight to Beijing without stopping in Guangzhou, taking Hanhan with him. Because they left in such a hurry, they didn't even see their family. By the time I received a call from my third sister, they had already boarded the plane.
This departure meant it was uncertain when they would meet again, and Hanhan's life took an unexpected turn.
Qin Xiaoyu held the receiver and burst into tears, while A Lei remained silent.
