Guangzhou Station is the final stop for this train. Most of the passengers who haven't disembarked yet will get off in Guangzhou.
Currently, there are many workers from all over the country who go to places like Guangzhou and Shenzhen to work.
Because of the reform and opening up ten years ago, Shenzhen was chosen as a pilot special economic zone. Therefore, the economy of the area including Shenzhen and Guangzhou is generally better than that of other inland cities in China.
Every year, a large number of migrant workers flock here.
A few whistles sounded.
The train finally came to a slow stop at Guangzhou's largest railway station.
Passengers began packing their luggage and disembarking.
Ji Wanmei and Lei Tingjun were also among the crowd getting off the bus.
Lei Tingjun carried the box in one hand and protected Ji Wanmei with the other.
When getting off the bus, the crowd was so large that everyone was eager to get off, making it even more crowded than when they got on.
If you're not careful, you might get pushed over by the person behind you when you step down the steps of the carriage.
Lei Tingjun was tall and strong. When he and Ji Wanmei got out of the car, he turned his head and coldly glanced at the crowd behind them.
The people behind him didn't dare to push him anymore.
Ji Wanmei quickly stepped off the train, feeling a complex atmosphere unique to the platform. She turned to take Lei Tingjun's hand.
Lei Tingjun, carrying a small, half-empty suitcase, stepped off the train, glanced at the exit sign, and took Ji Wanmei's hand: "Let's go, let's get out first."
Ji Wanmei walked forward hand in hand with Lei Tingjun, as if she were on a vacation, empty-handed.
She suddenly thought that she might as well buy a film camera herself while she was in Guangzhou.
That way, whenever she and Lei Tingjun go somewhere, they can take photos to commemorate the occasion.
Just like last time by West Lake, capture this significant moment.
When they get old, they can look back at those photos and reminisce about their youth.
Thinking about it, it feels really good.
Ji Wanmei walked briskly beside Lei Tingjun and said to him, "Lei Tingjun, let's go buy a film camera tomorrow."
