Chapter 319 If he really wants to...

Chapter 319

Lei Tingjun walked to the front desk of the guesthouse, took out his wallet from his pocket, and handed over his identification to check in.

Because when they came before, they only booked one room to make it easier to store their belongings.

Now that we've finished eating with Zhao Si and the others and returned, it's already past ten o'clock. The guesthouse is basically fully booked.

They had planned to book another room when they returned so they could sleep separately, but now they have to share a room.

No one expected it.

Zhao Si's invitation to dinner was unexpected, and running into Yang Zhiping after leaving the restaurant was even more unexpected.

When they finished dealing with everything and returned to the guesthouse, there were no rooms available.

Lei Tingjun pursed his lips, looking at Ji Wanmei with slight hesitation: "Meimei..."

"One room is fine, it's not like we haven't stayed together before," Ji Wanmei said softly, giving him a reproachful look.

Lei Tingjun thought of that night when Ji Wanmei went back with him to their old house in Xiahe Village, and his muscles tensed up. He remained silent.

Ji Wanmei walked to the front desk, took the room key from the staff, put away her identification documents and handed them to Lei Tingjun: "What are you still standing there for? Let's go."

Although this guesthouse has the best environment in the wholesale market, it doesn't have an elevator because the building was built quite a while ago.

The rise of elevator buildings mostly occurred after 2000 when they began to become widespread in buildings.

Ji Wanmei and her group booked a room on the third floor, which they had to access by taking the side stairs.

Ji Wanmei smiled at Lei Tingjun: "Can you walk up the stairs?"

Lei Tingjun raised an eyebrow, a hint of languid intoxication flashing in his dark eyes: "You underestimate your partner? Even now, I could let you climb ten floors for me without any problem."

"Really?" Ji Wanmei said deliberately, "Then carry me upstairs and try. My legs are sore from walking all day, I don't want to climb any more stairs."

Ji Wanmei knew that Lei Tingjun had unexpectedly run into Yang Zhiping at the entrance of Guangyue Restaurant tonight. He felt a little uncomfortable, but he couldn't show it in front of her, so he could only keep it to himself.

Of course, not only was Lei Tingjun uncomfortable, but Ji Wanmei's good mood was also ruined.

But Ji Wanmei absolutely would not allow Yang Zhiping to ruin this wonderful journey she and Lei Tingjun had been on.

Yang Zhiping was no longer important to Ji Wanmei. Whether he lived or died, Ji Wanmei didn't care. What she cared about now was the man in front of her.

This man's name is Lei Tingjun.

So, Ji Wanmei deliberately teased him and said some witty things to cheer him up.

To everyone's surprise, Lei Tingjun took it seriously. He bent down and picked Ji Wanmei up in his arms, one arm hooking around her knees and the other around her slender waist.

He lowered his head and nuzzled her nose, saying in a hoarse voice, "It's only the third floor, I can carry you up."

Ji Wanmei immediately raised her arms and wrapped them around his neck, her eyes sparkling as if filled with glittering starlight: "Whose boyfriend is so amazing?"

Lei Tingjun replied, "From Ji Wanmei's family."

After saying that, she tilted her head and giggled, "Oh, so it's my family's!"

Seeing her smiling so happily, Lei Tingjun lifted her up and carried her light and slender body up the stairs.

The three-story staircase seemed to ascend to him in just a few steps.

The room key was in Ji Wanmei's bag. Lei Tingjun stood in front of the room, raised one leg and leaned it against the door, letting Ji Wanmei sit on his lap like a child. He breathed in a slightly hoarse voice, "Open the door, Meimei."

Ji Wanmei swung her slender legs, took out her room key, and opened the door.

Lei Tingjun then carried Ji Wanmei inside, lifted his heel, and closed the door.

The room was dark. Before Ji Wanmei could insert the room card into the slot, she felt Lei Tingjun pull her back against him, his tall, hot body covering her and his passionate kiss landing on her cheek.

Ji Wanmei raised her hand, wrapped it around Lei Tingjun's shoulder, and tilted her head back to receive his kiss.

Lei Tingjun first gently pecked her cheeks, his thin lips lightly pursing as he savored the smooth, white texture of her face. Then he slowly kissed her eyebrows, eyelashes, and down her nose, finally landing on her soft, rosy lips.

Ji Wanmei was aroused by his series of irritating actions. She opened her red lips and gently bit him with her pearly teeth.

Lei Tingjun's rough fingertips rubbed her hair.

His palms and fingertips caressed her scalp, as if giving her a massage or a caress, immersing Ji Wanmei in a gentle feeling.

And what she received when she looked up was his passionate, forceful kiss.

His strength was so great that it seemed he wanted to pull her into his body.

In the pitch-black, quiet room, there was a bit of hot, stuffy air from the closed doors and windows, with only the sounds of their passionate kisses filling the air.

After an unknown amount of time, Lei Tingjun finally released her, bent down and buried his face in her hair to calm the agitation that had just risen within him.

"I think I'm really a little drunk," Lei Tingjun's low, husky voice rang in Ji Wanmei's ear.

Ji Wanmei tossed the handbag she was carrying onto the single sofa. The room was dark, as they hadn't turned on the lights. Ji Wanmei wasn't quite sure where the sofa was, but she guessed where it was before throwing the bag over.

Hearing the sound of something falling onto the sofa, Ji Wanmei turned her head, wrapped her arms around Lei Tingjun's neck again, bit his chin, and stood on tiptoe against him: "You smell of alcohol."
