The father and daughter sat in the restaurant, stopped eating, and watched Lei Tingjun walk away.
After a long pause, Ji Xingguo withdrew his gaze, his face stern, and looked at Ji Wanmei, saying irritably, "Are you satisfied now?"
Ji Wanmei smiled brightly: "Yes, I'm satisfied."
This time, Ji Xingguo was outmaneuvered by his daughter.
"If he dares to do it again, I won't give you the same face as today. If he dares to come chasing after me like this again, see how I deal with him!" Ji Xingguo said fiercely after everyone had left.

During her time at home, she felt restless and lacked inspiration. When drawing cheongsam designs, she couldn't see that they were the effect she wanted.
More than a dozen sheets of paper were wasted. Hopefully, this trip to relax and unwind will help her find some new inspiration.
As evening approached, the train happened to be heading west.
In July, the bright sun gradually descended westward across the rolling mountains, its golden rays and clouds painting the entire sky. A dazzling red sun sank into the golden clouds and rosy glow.
Ji Wanmei was stunned by the beauty of nature.
She was so beautiful that she was beyond words!
But this shock also gave her inspiration.
She suddenly realized that she could use the gradient colors of golden sunset to embellish the embroidery on the cheongsam, and the stand-up collar and the top plate could be decorated with auspicious cloud patterns.
When inspiration struck, Ji Wanmei began to write furiously.
Ji Xingguo had already finished reading a newspaper, and it was already six or seven o'clock, so he was hungry.

"Please don't buy my portion. If I'm really hungry, I'll just buy a box of instant noodles later. I don't like the boxed meals on the train," Ji Wanmei said.
Ji Xingguo frowned, thinking that instant noodles were not a healthy food, but seeing that Ji Wanmei was seriously drawing, he didn't want to disturb her, so he got up and went to the dining car to buy food.
Food on the train is scarce; besides boxed meals, it's mostly instant noodles.
Ji Xingguo bought a boxed lunch and a serving of instant noodles and brought them back to the carriage he was riding in.
When he returned with his purchases, he saw that Ji Wanmei had already opened the takeout box, was using a small toothpick to pick up slices of braised beef, and was putting them into her mouth.
After Ji Xingguo sat down, he handed over the instant noodles: "I bought you the noodles. If you want to eat them, I'll get you some hot water."
After saying that, he opened his lunchbox, took only a small bite, and his expression immediately turned sour.
Dinner is served on the train starting at 5:30, and it's already past 6:30, almost 7:00. Because it gets dark late in the summer, Ji Wanmei ordered a lot of dishes at noon, and Ji Xingguo was annoyed by her little tricks, so he also ordered a large bowl of rice.
It wasn't until almost 7 p.m. that I felt hungry, so I bought a boxed lunch. By then, the lunch had been sitting in a disposable container for quite a while.
