"Don't be afraid, it's not high, only two meters." Lei Tingjun patiently comforted Ji Wanmei, then took off his T-shirt and handed it to her so she could hold onto it.
Lei Tingjun gently touched Ji Wanmei's face and said softly, "Meimei, I know you want to spend more time with me, and I do too. But this is a school, and you are a boarding student, while I am not. If you don't come home at night, it will affect your reputation. I can't let you get caught up in such unpleasant rumors because of my selfishness."
"Be good, okay? Go back to your dorm tonight. I'll go back to Professor Liang's place tomorrow to report for duty, and we can see each other again then. I'll wait for you in front of the library at noon, okay?"
Ji Wanmei sat on the wall, which was more than two meters high, in the pitch-black night. Looking down, she saw the man in front of her explaining to her with tenderness and care why he had sent her back to school.

She suddenly felt a strong urge to kiss him.
And she actually did it.
Ji Wanmei lowered her head, hugged Lei Tingjun's neck, sat on the wall, and kissed him passionately as he stood on the ground.
Until that long, lingering kiss ended.
"Okay, sure." She looked at him and agreed.
Lei Tingjun looked up at her and said, "Then grab my clothes and I'll pull you down from here. Slide down slowly and don't fall."
Lei Tingjun carefully protected Ji Wanmei as she jumped off the wall.
Now, Ji Wanmei is inside the wall, and Lei Tingjun is outside the wall.
Their voices came through a wall, sounding somewhat low.
"Meimei, are you hurt?" Lei Tingjun asked worriedly.
"No, I'm fine." Ji Wanmei leaned against the courtyard wall and suddenly asked, "Lei Tingjun, is it possible that I've never told you 'I love you' before?"
Lei Tingjun was silent for a moment on the other end before calling out to her, "Meimei."
Ji Wanmei turned around, looked at the wall as if she were looking through it at the man outside, and smiled gently: "Lei Tingjun, I love you."
