After the fat man was roused from his bed, he looked around and found that only the bed closest to the inside was still empty.
He was secretly annoyed, thinking that he must bring a few of his brothers over tomorrow to teach that big guy a lesson.
The fat man walked over and, using the same method he had used on the skinny man, kicked the bed leg and said in a nasty voice, "Move over a bit! You've taken up all my space!"
If Lei Tingjun hadn't come in earlier, that skinny guy probably wouldn't have dared to resist.
But now, the skinny guy, with a sudden surge of courage, said defiantly, "Each person has their own bed. I'm sleeping in my own bed; I haven't crossed any boundaries."
"It's clearly you who's fat," he muttered under his breath.
"What the hell did you say? Say it again, or I'll beat you to death, you son of a bitch!"
The fat man bullied the weak and feared the strong. He didn't dare to utter a word in front of Lei Tingjun, but he dared to act arrogantly in front of this skinny guy.
Lei Tingjun had just lain down and hadn't fallen asleep yet when he heard the fat man shouting. He said in a deep voice, "Skinny guy, come sleep over here with me."
The skinny guy was overjoyed and quickly sat up, walked over to Lei Tingjun, and said obsequiously, "Thank you for taking care of me, big brother!"
Lei Tingjun then said to the men inside, "All of you, move over a bit."
Out of fear of him, everyone moved further inside.
Moving to the very back, the fat man ended up being squeezed to the very back, too afraid to utter a sound.
The skinny guy felt a surge of admiration and turned to Lei Tingjun, saying, "Brother, you're such a nice person. What's your name?"
