Chapter Ninety-Eight
Once on the train, it was just as crowded as it had been on the way there.
As soon as Ji Wanmei stepped onto the platform, she felt a tremendous force pushing her forward from behind.
She was helplessly pushed into the carriage by the crowd.
Luo Chunyan was originally following behind Ji Wanmei, but she was the type to refuse to be taken advantage of, and kept yelling at the people behind her: "Slow down, slow down! What are you pushing for! Are you in a hurry to be reborn?"
A burly woman behind them wasn't going to let it go either, and she and Luo Chunyan started hurling insults at each other.
In just a short while, two more people squeezed up between Luo Chunyan and Ji Wanmei, both of them migrant workers carrying large and small bags of luggage.
Lei Tingjun, who was originally behind them, saw this, pushed aside the people on both sides, and strode over to Ji Wanmei's back.
Li, the clerk, was thin and weak, and he was constantly worried that his expensive glasses would be crushed, and that his shirt would be wrinkled.
After looking around, I ended up being the last one to squeeze onto the bus.
Once Ji Wanmei was squeezed into the carriage, she was immediately caught in a dilemma, with no way forward or backward.
The migrant workers and passengers who had squeezed onto the train earlier were busy putting their things on the overhead luggage racks, which blocked the way.
But there were still many passengers waiting to get into the carriage, and they kept clamoring and urging each other to push forward.
Ji Wanmei lost her balance and was almost pushed forward.
A strong hand reached out, grabbed her waist, and led her to the door of the passageway.
Ji Wanmei looked up and saw Lei Tingjun.
He didn't know when, but he had been following her at a distance that was neither too close nor too far.
Seeing that she was about to fall due to being jostled by those people, they quickly protected her and brought her to the door of the passageway.
There was a narrow crack in the door, just big enough for Ji Wanmei's slender figure to stand inside.
Lei Tingjun stood before her like a solid wall, shielding her from the noisy, crowded torrent behind her and creating a safe haven for her.
Ji Wanmei was about to speak.
At this moment, a dark-skinned, honest-looking migrant worker squeezed through from behind Lei Tingjun and said, "Brother, please make way, I need to go upstairs to put down my luggage."
Lei Tingjun then took a slight step forward.
His broad, firm chest pressed very close to Ji Wanmei's.
It was only about two or three fingers' width apart.
However, Ji Wanmei's graceful and slender body was not as flat as a man's.
She was curvaceous and shapely, with graceful curves in her chest and waist.
As soon as Lei Tingjun took a step forward, he felt two soft mounds pressing against his hard chest, and his body stiffened slightly.
When he realized what was happening, he tried to back away, but it was too late.
After that farmer, two more people came over and put their luggage there.
This resulted in Lei Tingjun not only having no room to retreat, but also being pushed closer and closer to Ji Wanmei's body.
Ji Wanmei had already said what she wanted to say, but suddenly she paused, her eyelashes trembled, she bit her lip, and looked up at Lei Tingjun with embarrassment and annoyance.
A blush of unease crept onto Lei Tingjun's wheat-colored face. His dark, deep eyes stared at her, his lips moved, unsure how to explain.
He didn't do it on purpose.
There were many people waiting to board the train and put their luggage at the passageway, and they were all stuck there.
Ji Wanmei couldn't get out; in front of her was a man's hard chest, full of wild hormones, pressing down on her soft breasts, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Ji Wanmei blushed.
Her breathing rose and fell slightly, causing her chest to move up and down against Lei Tingjun's muscular chest.
Lei Tingjun said in a hoarse voice, "Don't move."
Ji Wanmei blushed deeply, lowered her head without speaking or looking at him, and simply turned her head away.
When Lei Tingjun looked down, he could see Ji Wanmei's delicate profile with its rosy glow, her long and slender swan neck, her pearly teeth slightly biting her lower lip, and a strand of hair falling down to rest on her chin.
The air was filled with her faint, captivating fragrance.
The sweet fragrance filled the air, making Lei Tingjun feel hot all over, his mouth dry, and a fire inexplicably burning throughout his body.
The fire made him feel like he was about to explode.
He couldn't hear the crowd and noise behind him; all he could see and feel was the little woman nestled against his chest.
Ji Wanmei felt so suffocated by his pressure that she whispered, "You...you step back a little."
Lei Tingjun was worried that she would be squeezed, and that the luggage on top might fall and hit her, so he simply propped the suitcase he was carrying above her head.
Use your arms to create a space in front of her, so that she can stay comfortably inside.
But this action turned into him using his arms to encircle her against the wall, bringing the two closer, more intimate, and more romantic.
Lei Tingjun could even lower his head slightly to place kisses on the top of her head and her forehead.
The man's strong, broad chest pressed tightly against the woman's soft breasts.
Lei Tingjun could even measure Ji Wanmei's entire body size through such close contact and two layers of clothing.
Her waist, her arms, her legs...
Lei Tingjun is not a person with such vulgar thoughts.
However, when faced with a woman he likes, a normal man will always be unable to resist having such desires for her.
The strange thing is that this pose is just too ambiguous.
But Lei Tingjun shamelessly admitted that he actually hoped the crowding would never end.
