Lei Tingjun and Ji Wanmei's Raising a Child Side Story (Part 1)
After Lei Tingjun and Ji Wanmei decided to have a child, they began preparing for pregnancy.
The two of them had sex almost every day.
Sometimes it happens more than once a day.
After they stopped using birth control products, Ji Wanmei felt that he became even more aroused.
The following summer.
One morning, Ji Wanmei suddenly noticed something strange about her body when she woke up.
That feeling wasn't discomfort, but rather a very strange sensation.
She felt as if her body had become a nourishing soil, as if a seed was sprouting in the soil within her body.
The feeling was very strange, as if her soul had floated out of her body and she could see herself from another perspective.
Ji Wanmei sat on the edge of the bed, somewhat dazed and confused.
She reached out and touched her belly, clearly feeling the tiny seed struggling to break through the soil.

She finished doing all of this slowly before going downstairs.
Lei Tingjun had prepared breakfast and was sitting on the sofa in the living room reading the newspaper.

The other guest room downstairs has now been converted into his study. The bright floor-to-ceiling windows shine into the study, and the four bookshelves inside are filled with books, most of which he has already read.
Hearing footsteps, Lei Tingjun closed his book, looked up and smiled: "You're up. Today's breakfast is your favorite purple sweet potato and millet porridge and fried dough sticks. Come and eat."
Ji Wanmei took a few quick steps down the stairs, then walked up to Lei Tingjun, hugged his waist, and tilted her head up to ask for a good morning kiss.
Lei Tingjun really enjoyed Ji Wanmei's initiative to kiss him and also appreciated her gentleness.
He lowered his head and kissed her, then cupped her face in his hands and looked at her tenderly, saying, "Why do you look so happy today, my wife?"
Ji Wanmei smiled with the corners of her mouth up, hugged his strong, narrow waist and swayed gently, her tone a little coquettish: "Because I discovered something to be happy about."
"What is it?" he asked.
Ji Wanmei's good mood naturally affected him, making him feel good as well.
In the years since they got married, Lei Tingjun has gradually become more cheerful, especially when he is alone with Ji Wanmei; there is a smile deep in his eyes.
His cold, stern face was slightly upturned, revealing a bright smile, and his deep black eyes also shone with light.
In the morning sunlight, he appeared tall and imposing.
"Let's eat first, I'll tell you after we finish eating." Ji Wanmei happily ran to the dining table and sat down.
Lei Tingjun scooped a bowl of millet porridge and handed it to her, everything was prepared meticulously: "The temperature is just right, not too hot."
Ji Wanmei took a bite. The purple sweet potato and millet porridge was soft, sweet, and just the right amount of sweetness. It was refreshing but not cloying.
She ate breakfast with fried dough sticks and quickly finished a bowl of porridge.
Lei Tingjun was still waiting for her to tell him about the thing that made her happy first thing in the morning.
Seeing that he was staring at her intently, Ji Wanmei put down her bowl and spoon, placed her hands flat, sat upright at the dining table, took a deep breath, looked at him with a very serious expression, and said, "I think I'm pregnant."
Lei Tingjun was stunned for a moment, then a look of unexpected surprise slowly appeared on his face. He then shifted his gaze to Ji Wanmei's stomach, staring at her flat, slender waist in disbelief for a while.
Ji Wanmei has always had a very thin waist, and her frame is also slender.
Even though she had just drunk a full bowl of purple sweet potato porridge and eaten two fried dough sticks, her belly was not bulging at all.
A strange yet gentle sense of wonder rose in Lei Tingjun's heart.
"Really?" He was overjoyed and looked up at her, asking, "How did you sense it?"
Ji Wanmei then described to him the strange feeling she had suddenly experienced upon waking up.
"It's that feeling, like there's a seed sprouting inside my belly. It's strange, but the feeling is real. I can even sense it trying to break through from somewhere in my body, maybe my uterus."
Along with the feeling she described, she felt a slightly warm and bloated sensation in her abdomen.
This wasn't a reaction she had after eating breakfast, but rather something she had when she first woke up on an empty stomach.
Ji Wanmei touched her belly and said to Lei Tingjun with a smile, "It's true, this feeling is really amazing. I haven't even gone for a checkup yet, but I'm almost certain I'm pregnant!"
Lei Tingjun immediately stood up, walked behind Ji Wanmei, hugged her from behind, put his arm around her shoulder, and placed his palm on her soft abdomen to feel it quietly.
His warm, slightly agitated hand rested on her stomach, and he remained silent for a long while.
Ji Wanmei turned to look at him, her eyes soft and bright: "Can you feel it?"
Lei Tingjun's deep, dark eyes shone with increasing surprise. He turned his head and whispered softly in her ear, "It seems... I felt it too."
