Chapter 171 The Handling of the Thunder Army

Lei Tingjun asked this question not because he would lose a worker if Xie Laosan could no longer drive, but because Xie Laosan earned a living by driving and hauling goods to support his wife and children.

If his leg suffers any lasting damage, or he can no longer drive, his family's livelihood will be gone.

The doctor said, "If you recover well, you should still be able to drive without any problems, but you probably won't be able to do heavy work."

Lei Tingjun nodded: "Thank you, doctor. You've gone to a lot of trouble."

When Xie Laosan was wheeled out of the operating room, Lei Tingjun glanced at him and saw that his right leg was strapped with a brace, but otherwise he seemed to be fine.

"Two of you stay here to take care of him. Take two people and come back with me to deal with the wrecked car."

Lei Tingjun glanced around, picked out two who seemed relatively sober and calm, and told them to follow him.

A-Qiang was left at the hospital. He watched Lei Tingjun's hurried coming and going. It was so late at night, and he had been working non-stop to clean up their messes without even having a chance to catch his breath.

Not only that, when he arrived at the hospital and saw that he had caused the trouble, he didn't say a single harsh word to him.

This made Ah Qiang feel even worse.

I couldn't help but feel guilty and extremely remorseful.

Lei Tingjun, along with two other people, got into the car he had driven and turned back to the scene of the accident.

He got out of the car, turned on his flashlight, and examined the car from top to bottom. He noticed that a large puddle of gasoline had dripped down near the car, staining the grass black.

Lei Tingjun handed the flashlight to the person next to him, took out tools from the trunk, lay down, and slid under the car: "Shine the light for me, I'm going to fix this loose part."

Driving sports cars frequently, especially secondhand cars that have been discarded by others, will naturally lead to various problems.

Just like how one becomes a doctor through prolonged illness, Lei Tingjun gradually learned to repair some common car problems on his own.

Seeing that the fuel tank was leaking and the engine assembly at the front of the car was loosened after the impact, he was worried that driving it directly to the repair shop like this might cause another accident on the way, so he did some simple repairs himself first.

Two coworkers helped Lei Tingjun by shining a flashlight on him, watching him use piston ring pliers one moment and a pneumatic wrench the next, lying down and making a series of clattering repairs.

Twenty minutes later, Lei Tingjun wiped the sweat from his forehead, crawled out from under the car, stood up and said, "Alright, we should be able to drive now."

"You two get into the car in front of me, hook up the tow hook, and I'll drive this car."

At this point, Lei Tingjun was covered in oil and grease, and he didn't care about anything else.

I got into the wrecked car and drove it to the repair shop at 11 p.m. to get it fixed.
