Lingzi heard someone calling her and hurriedly ran back, standing at the door and peeking inside.
When Liu Zi saw the person, she breathed a sigh of relief and immediately squatted down on the ground.
"Oh dear, what's wrong with you?" Liu's mother was startled.
Liu Zi's face was deathly pale, and she slowly waved her hand.
"It's nothing, I was just half asleep and thought Reiko coming back was a dream."
By the end, her voice was choked with emotion.
Tears welled up in Liu's mother's eyes instantly; she had been filled with remorse these past few days.
